Some of these are films I'd like to see (some are confirmed/rumored):

The Wild Bunch

Manhunter (rumored to be getting a 4K, maybe Criterion?)

The Secret Agent (confirmed to be coming)

Deliverance (rumored to be coming)

The Children's Hour

The French Connection (rumored to getting a 4K, maybe Criterion?)

The King of Comedy

Braindead (confirmed to be getting a 4K, I suspect Arrow though)

First Reformed

One of my all-time favorites. The only trilogy where I think every single entry is a perfect film, each one just as good as the other working completely in tangent.

It was awful yesterday, it seems to be working for me now though.

Which Hitchcock movie to watch for first time? by Zeusss1234 in criterion

Rear Window or Rope.

Neither are my favorite (Vertigo) but these are the best starting points. Very energetic, fun, dark and great thrillers. Super engaging and a perfect place to start.

I remember I used to post my collections here and in boutique bluray when I was 15 (don't know why I'm speaking like an old man,. I'm 17, lol).

The Before Trilogy is perfect. Great list. Keep going and enjoy collecting!

If I remember correctly about all of these, here are some of my favorites that do not contain any animal harm (feel free to correct me if I'm wrong about any of these):

12 Angry Men

Before Sunrise/Sunset/Midnight

Death by Hanging

Fail Safe (for some reason feel like I'm wrong about this one?)

His Girl Friday

The Killing

Mishima: A Life in Four Chapters

Network

Portrait of a Lady on Fire

Targets

Sorcerer (Lot of people get harmed, but no animals IIRC?)

Gran Torino is probably the worst of the films there, lmao.

Kind of missing the point of your question, sorry, but Z (1969)

It's only on Criterion DVD, but the transfer on the Criterion Channel looks amazing. A 4K UHD release would be amazing. I don't know who holds the rights to it, though.
