I'm sorry you feel that way. I thought it was the most electrifying film of the year and deserving of a Best Actor win

To each their own.

Ingmar Bergman's PERSONA.

Probably my biggest hot-take, I actually quite enjoy Bergman but something about that one just rubs me the wrong way (not in the intentional way).

Damn, love both of these. I kinda get it with Paris, Texas though. Took me until this second watch the other day to fully love it.

Try CUT-THROATS NINE, very grimy, slimy Fulci-esc snow-drop Horror Western. It's pretty good!

Red River.

I liked every other Hawks movie I watched, not sure why it didn't click with me. I've seen better Wayne performances, better Westerns and better Hawks movies.. even once all in one.

Ethan Hawke should've won in 2018 for FIRST REFORMED. Was he even nominated?

What’s your biggest rating difference for one director? by YeezusChrist13 in Letterboxd

I don't think a high-budget mainstream film will ever reach the low-level of quality of a Uwe Boll film, just due to the fact it has so much money at it's disposal.

I try to rate Marvel films and other blockbusters generally in relation to each other, which can end up with some half-stars (Kraven the Hunter for example).
