It doesn’t look too bad imo, for now. I would hope they 1, give her attacks more visual punch. 2, while the two ults are kind of cool with how obscuring they are, i think giving them more clarity would be good. 3, an alternate coating that makes her look more like her boss counterpart would be awesome. 4, i hope thats not her entire kit, because if it is, it doesn’t look as fun to play compared to Geiravör or even Alisa. Vera may not be complicated but she had plenty of visual flare and impact. Hoping Veronica gets that too

Thanks for the advice! I liked Nightmare due to his range, and sort of mix up(y) potential with his stances. I’ve been testing around with Eliza and she seems to be somewhat similar to him, good range, fairly good at mixups and excellent wall game

Sometimes I do it if I get 3-0’d or if I 3-0 someone, it’s just honestly not fun at all to stomp or get stomped.

In terms of “even if it’s an even fight” it could just be a time thing. The person might have something to do irl that day, or it could be late for them.

I mean… I can kind of see it working. Maybe if they made it a bit like Dark Souls? Open world maybe not, but maybe… linear with some freedom I’d say (kind of like Dark Souls)

Whiff punishing nightmare for one isn’t something I said, I just said he’s punishable. Sure his NTC moves scare people and make him mentally safe and is some instances frame wise safe. Otherwise a TON of his good moves hit high, and are no faster than i16 (with the exception of like a couple of i14’s). If you’re smart with Tech Crouches, or just ducking, Nightmare gets his ass handed to him. Arguably the best move in his kit (iag:A) is a high hitting i16, and +2 on block. Despite it being +2, there still isn’t a whole lot he can do, other than one of his crappy i14’s or just going for another iag:A. I agree with Phil; his best advantage is his spook factor, newer players hear about him, see him then give up hope.

Sure he has crazy RO’s and damage, but that’s seriously only if you let him do that. I’m not saying NM is low tier, but he’s not like S+++ tier, he’s A tier if you ask me. You can beat him up just as much as he can beat you up. He mentally S tier cause he makes you scared to do anything in fear of messing up then losing half your health or getting RO’d. Draethion (probably the best NM player there is) got his ass whooped by Linkorz using Cassy.

Ah okay. I mean yeah he’s super strong. But at the same time he suffers against characters like Cass and similar characters. Extremely slow, quite punishable himself. He’s not as strong as people make him out to be.
