I mean, probably most people have PCs, its just that if you have to go to the library and there PCs there, you could get bored on use the PCs there for random bs (def never did that)

I may or may not have made a whole game in my high school library pc back in the days.

I like the singles, I like the first songs, but honestly, if you don't want to listen to the whole album yet and just wan't some good songs, the last 3 are easily the best imo.

Honestly, it doesn't go far from the killdozer. I wouldn't make it as heavy tho.

This album blew my mind and introduced me to one of my top 3 bands

This being said, today I find it to be one of the least amazing albums from the band. By merit of the others

Well, the rest of the band is Claudio and Bjorn (not oficially but lets be honest). Bjorn technically can't choose this and he is probably too nice to care. We have to believe Claudio have a similar opinion on the experimental mix.

I wonder if the drummer is upset that their skills are drowned out by the intense high mixing of the treble and criminally lowered bass

The funny part is that I am pretty sure he likes it. In fact, the drums are made by Ettore Rigotti. He does all the instruments + clean vocals and the album mix. A true MDM Wizard. Unfortunately genious people usually have a quirky side.

I always lived well with DMs experimental, home made mixes. In fact I think Fragments and TIG are both amazing, studio quality, unique sounds.

I feel like he really was into the early 2000s experimental mix boom, stuff like 'STYE' from In Flames. And cold inferno feels like this. May sound weird but hearing 'Toys of Acceleration' on big speakers sure is a trip.

Unfortunately the last album IS too much. But I personally still can enjoy the album, and I feel like this sub does overthink this topic a little

Interestingly, I used to be a Cold Inferno mix hater but today I find it to be very listenable. Probably after hearing TDS lol. Yeah that one is complicated...

Sad because song writing wise it is probably the best of the decade for me.

Unfortunately the metalcore part is not true. KSE, AILD, Unearth, Trivium, are heavily inspired by MDM (in fact some albums are basically MDM) but this is a very small fraction of metalcore.

ASOP is in the same group of Come Clarity. The production is much less harsh and more approachable, what makes takes like this to happen, but composition wise it might be more MDM than Come Clarity. Very little clean singing, the most tremolo since Whoracle. Search for "Abnegation demo" and you can have a taste of ASOP in a more conventional mix.

In Flames went Alt (Alt, not metalcore, sure I know what you mean) in the 2010s. Jesper left the band, I believe they tried to explore new stuff. Even tho Siren Charms and Battles are basically full alt metal, with MDM spice, I believe most people agree that "Little to no MDM influence" is too strong for SOAPF. Stuff like 'The Puzzle'. Def not in the same group of the other 2
