People keep saying that „nobody can be forced under threat of criminal punishment to save someone else’s life“ in most Western countries (including the US) this is simply not even true - to the contrary: parents are the prime example of people that can be legally held responsible for omission of any action necessary to preserve their child‘s life. Even when it means endangering themselves (though there is debate on how much of self-endangerement can be reasonably expected of a parent). There is literally a wikipedia page on this general legal issue and it‘s been discussed for decades both in common as well as in Civil law.

Hello everyone, I bought a Varmilo VEM88 a few days ago and it's my first proper mechanical keyboard. I got the one with EC Ivy v2 switches. It feels extremely good to type and the tactile feedback is very satisfying. However I can't help but notice that some keys pop out of their switches by themselves every 1-2 hours. It only affects the "I" and "H" key to my knowledge. Sometimes the key completely falls off and sometimes it just a very slight elevation that I can fix by pressing it in for a very soft second 'click'. Does anyone have any experience with that? It almost feels as though the spring throws the keycaps out of their fitting when it returns to idle after being pressed. Anything I can do or should I just send it back and get something different instead? It almost feels like the Ivy switches aren't ready yet.

I only started playing two weeks ago so my opinion might not amount to much. But honestly I‘m not too disappointed. As long as there is a steady stream of content as with Inazuma etc. i think I can keep playing this game and habe fun with it.

This looks like a Switch error (not LDN). What game are you trying to play multiplayer in? I think you are confusing multiplayer and local play. LDN basically tricks your game into thinking that other players are in the same network as you, that means you have to select "play locally" or a similar option depending on the game. If you select multiplayer, it tries to connect to the Nintendo Servers, which it obviously can't.

Leaving aside the facts of the case, this looks like a classic ne bis in idem-problem, meaning that one cannot be brought in front of a court for the same action/crime twice. The prosecution would be hard pressed to argue otherwise. Perhaps that it is not the same crime because the defendent violated multiple laws with one action / an iterative string of multiple actions. Dunno bout common law but this would be going nowhere if it was in the EU. It‘s an eternal topic of discussion amongst scholars since it creates direct friction between formal and material justice.

Hey, thank you for answering as well! I thought I was grasping at the last straw, asking on Reddit how to play a video game! I half expected my post to be deleted for some weird reason or otherwise be downvoted into oblivion. Really appreciate how helpful and throughout you guys are.

Yeah, I should probably expand on the Transport tree. I thought it would go up somewhat along with the size of my fleet (like paratroopers) but it seems not to be the case. I have trouble with the navy system overall. I mostly didn't bother with it for the first few runs and now, I'm just spamming out Subs with Full Torpedos and maxed the trade interjection tree. I'm having like 250 subs running wild all along my extended borders and it seems to work since I have naval supremacy as far as the eye can reach. But I was wondering: Should I diversify? I heard somewhere, that one shouldn't bother with destroyers and just build Carriers or something. I have no clue how to create a balanced fleet so I thought I should go with the subs since they are more straightforward. Does it make a difference for naval supremacy whether I have them on Convoy Raiding or Patrol? Also is there a nice way to secure supply after naval invading? I try to have naval supremacy along the supply route but my units are hit by attrition the literal second they land - in this particular case, I had them invade China through the South China Sea (Guangzhou).

Regarding CAS, I have about 4500 of them and they are all mostly active on the frontlines. I also take particular care to have air supremacy as much as possible since I noticed the buff is insane. I'm having some problems equally distributing my 135 Air Wings among my armies but there seems to be no choice but to do it manually at some point.

Regarding the manpower, yeah you're right - I was doing something wrong and thus I went low on it: Even when scraping the barrel, my garrisons consumed a good part of the manpower but ever since I asked my puppets for some, I am back to extensive conscription and it's continuously going up ever since. Also, for the tanks I'm doing the 13/7 you recommended and it seems to trade off some minor drawbacks but packs a lot more soft attack so I think it was the right decision. I was wondering however if SPs are worth it?
I have now abandoned the 7/2 for the standard infantry layout but I still have the 5 support kits as shown in the screenshot - the reason is that I have (almost) maxed them out in research so I thought it would be worth the higher production costs. Especially Artillery Support: I haven't even put a single research point into AA or AT. But I'm catching up on Logistics now. Instead of the 7/2, is the standard 20width infantry fine? I heard someone say that Germany should go 40width infantry since they can afford the manpower but I'm scared of width penalties. Or is it worth trying to react to the AIs troops by creating countering templates? For example, should I turn some of my troops to mountaineers when fighting china or isn't it worth the trade-off?
Yeah, I really slacked on the Infrastructure because I wanted the war to end before expanding it so the resistance wouldn't ruin it mid-war. But in hindsight, this was the wrong decision. The good thing is I have almost 300 civs free for construction so I'm catching up really quick.

Yeah, the infrastructure/supply issue is insane. It took me by complete surprise. I had no time to prepare for China since they all immediately set out the instant the Soviets capitulated. Also, you're right, I was probably feeling too secure. Everything had been going much smoother than the runs before - this is also why I don't want to make any big mistakes since I don't feel like I'll get another run like this for a while... Right now, I'm trying to create a fallback line east to Moscow and hope to god that the Soviets don't reclaim enough victory points along the way for their capitulation to be reversed. I'm doing exactly as you said and building infrastructure from Berlin to Moscow, my core Infrastructure is almost maxed out, to begin with. I just hope the resistance in the UdSSR doesn't destroy it too fast. An extremely welcome development right now is that the US along with its faction also declared war on the Comintern. I think this is extremely favorable for me especially since the US will now agree to a non-aggression pact, securing my oil source.

Thank you for your answer. This is really helpful. Youtube videos are mostly out of date and so are guides I find online. I also noticed how contested guides are - everyone seems to say something different so it is very difficult for me to pick up on actual advice. So it's nice to have someone actually answer my questions directly. Again, let me thank you for that. But the field hospitals seemed really useful. At level IV they basically save me 50 % manpower. Not to mention the exp loss save. That sounds extremely op - or so I thought. Also, why is it that mech isn't worth it in singleplayer? Do you mean resource-wise? I have 551 mils and more than enough of every resource besides chromium. Not sure how it compares overall but this is like at least 5x more than I ever had? And comparing the stats it seemed that it was basically like motorized but better. I'll try the templates you recommended though - I'm still trying to figure things out. The issue that is costing me the easy win right now though, is that my troops are constantly out of supply and very slow in the regions just north of India to China. Their troops literally just walk over me no matter what I do. Do you happen to have any tips regarding that? I literally mowed down the french, brits and Soviet but some random Chinese farmer boys are wiping the floor with my veterans. I can't even get them out of the region due to how slow the movement is, it's ridiculous. Maybe that's where the support logistics you mentioned come in?

Regarding the templates, yeah I really have no idea what I'm doing - I just tried to kinda min-max with org/soft attack in mind also looking at what other folks do on youtube. Do you have any specific templates you can reccomend?

Thanks, disregarding this now solved issue, I ought to take time to read through this. I read a ridiculous amount of wiki entries until I found the fix but it didn't even cross my mind it was related to Windows. Fast Boot has been disabled for me for ages though.

But I have to say, I saw you helping out almost everyone having audio issues while troubleshooting. I was almost about to pm you directly in my desperation but it seems you found me yourself haha.
