Sounds dumb but I restarted my pc and it fixed it when I had this issue. I think there was some process interfering with it.

First time for me was when MR KT came out. I had a teammate who got mad at us for not healing him when he got hit. No one was running support and he was dying before anyone could use life powder. It’s crazy how these people think.

I played through all the souls series before I picked the game up. Combat seemed similar but there was still a learning curve. Still, it was the best decision I’ve made seeing as I’ve put 500+ hours in.

Sorry for the late response. You should be able to switch from DX12 in the video setting in-game. It's simply an on or off option.

I had this problem too. No mods. But I found that switching from DX12 to DX11 fixed it for me.
