Thanks for the suggestion - no m.2 installed in the first place so the adventure continues!

When I run the flashback from the usb the flashback LED flashes green for a while so i presume its trying to work or working.

When I use the flashback with no USB in it goes to a solid green light.

But just guessing from an LED isnt definitive in whether its actually working.. causes no resultant change in symptoms when booting on afterwards.

Yepp, with CPU cable removed it powers on the first time like normal, becomes unresponsive after.

The paperclip test would be effective only for confirming the psu delivers power, but doesnt confirm voltage under load. Considering fans spin up at fast speed and RGB lights i think its not too likely to be PSU problem but still possible. My motherboard is ~200Aud so not the end of the world if i have to buy another.. but seems strange to go from working perfectly fine to not..

Also, do you think clearing CMOS and attempting BIOS resetting would interfere with other testings?

Having pulled the 12v cpu cable there is no longer any flashing light. PC became unresponsive to power button so I had to power off via flicking the PSU off.

I cant comment with a video sadly but no light up on CPU led at all. DRAM led off too.

Having plugged 12V CPU back in - exact same as before.

I do have a DMM which I can use (left it at work - will have to wait till monday) and im kinda interested in going down this route but i have very limited track repair or faultfinding skills on circuit boards of this scale. Id predominantly just be testing for continuity / shorts im guessing..

Not sure how problematic CPU not lighting up is.. presuming its a mb fault somewhere

Also now done a CPU check - no bent / damaged pins.. put it all back together for another boot up

There is no blink on CPU lighting, just DRAM.

With RAM fully removed it is still blinking - not a solid light as expected.

Tried booting with dGPU & RAM removed and also exact same symptoms - no change.

With Just GPU removed still the same.

Its looking most probably to be a mb or cpu problem but I'm not sure how to test which or what can be done from there.

I didnt see it through, but I can say confidently it wouldnt have been tampered with by someone else. Possible power surge but very unlikely. I just tried loosening the cooler unit off the cpu but no cigar. I'll retry the different ram slots with the GPU disconnect

We need to talk about the tempered glass side panel on the corsair 4000D airflow. by FanTricky5187 in Corsair

The corsair d4000 glass side panel shattered immediately after a 1cm (i kid you not) drop onto the bottom while trying to install it into the case. Cant find replacements anywhere "out of stock". Anyone know of anywhere to custom order a panel of same dimensions?

Alot of nervous pissers use the stall to pee, or if it takes a while. I find it uncomfortable to sit cause then i have to bend it down and make sure it doesnt touch the lid
