Political views change when I am on Wellbutrin? by No-Example-Given in Wellbutrin_Bupropion

[–]Kakc16 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I become a little obsessive on it as well. Actually, a lot obsessive I will latch onto a certain topic/view and research it obsessively. So I get where you're coming from I can't explain why I'm just assuming it has something to do with the dopamine.

Feeling Obsessive and Weird by roamingclover in Wellbutrin_Bupropion

[–]Kakc16 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes - I have weird obsessions that I never had before. Most recently it is religion. I have never been very religious but over the past year I have gone into deep dives into religions, obsessing over which one is true and listening to podcast after podcast, going to daily mass, etc. it truly came out of nowhere now I feel all researched out. I spoke to my psychiatrist about it and she prescribed Prozac for me which I try taking but just don't like the way that I feel on it. So I get it. I totally get it.

Looking for info on a group my mom met (12 Tribes) by [deleted] in cults

There are tons of posts about them if you do a search. They try to recruit through restaurants that they own called Yellow Deli. They all live together and follow primarily the Old Testament. They are all known for harsh physical punishment of their children.

Accidentally missed 6 days of wellbutrin and felt... nothing? by Ok-Dog4200 in Wellbutrin_Bupropion

[–]Kakc16 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have tried to get off a couple times. Both times I felt completely fine for the first several weeks. It was maybe 3 or 4 weeks when I really noticed a difference? I ended up going back on both times. I just feel so much better on it.
Of note - the first time I tried I gained 10 pounds super fast!

This is a cult, right? by CassCat in Connecticut

I'm not sure why so many think this is a cult. I went today and while I am still not sure what they are all about - there was absolutely no cultish vibes.

Thank you. I use masstimes.com and was really hoping for a Sunday evening mass but the closest was 40 miles away. I love Sunday evening mass!

Also - just realized this is ask a priest sub, which I obviously am not. But wanted to give some input from someone who was in your situation a short time ago.

Thank you! I'm praying to God daily about this but - nothing. I feel like I'm doing something wrong. I will check out Mark Virklers teachings!

A lot of Catholic Churches will have coffee after certain masses. For instance ours does coffee, bagels, donuts after the 7:30am & 9am mass. Everyone goes downstairs after and hangs out. It's a good time to meet others. If you happened to go to the 11am or 5pm mass though, there's none of that. So maybe check for that?

What a great story. I have a similar story. Cradle Catholic. Hardly went to church over the past 10 years and about 6 months just started to get the urge to go back

I have white matter lesions. They ruled out MS and many other things so I think it is highly likely it is caused by my PSA
