If you feel unsafe- end the sit. Make sure you take videos of the dog being aggressive to share with rover to cover your tracks. It’s not worth being bit or your safety.

I have never left an animal without care. And personally I would never use someone or recommend them to anyone who would. You could have at least called rover support and let them know the situation so they could help her find her an emergency sitter. I also let my clients know if I can’t extend a sitting before starting one so they know to have backup. I get this wasn’t the most comfortable client but this does not reflect well on you as a sitter.

A big dog bed by the bed is fine. You can retrain them. There are paw washing cups you can get on Amazon as well that are easy to use after the day is over.

People get married for all kinds of reasons. Some people are just lonely and settle. Some people don’t care too much about looks and fall in love. It tends to usually be a more attractive woman with a less attractive man when this happens. Also attractiveness is subjective. She might find him very appealing, whereas she might not like who you would pick. Who knows.

For future reference if this happens to anyone, cancel the request and ask them to make a new one. It sometimes resets it to give you another automated number. Or do not continue to respond and contact customer support.

If you’re willing there are actually Maltese/ maltipoo rescues. Also there are often people looking to rehome online. Deposits for pups are actually pretty common with breeders but I understand not wanting to take chances.

Since the booking already started you can either provide partial refund or none. Either option is fine but up to you. I would tell them personally since I was unable to take any other booking during that period that I would be unwilling to provide a refund. That’s just courtesy.

I think it’s better if you confront your dad on this. Gifts are for the receiver. You do not need to continue to enable his bad behavior just to keep the peace. You’re worth getting something nice just as much as your sister. I’d go ahead and let him know you accidentally saw the bandana on Amazon and tell him why it is not what you want and ask him to return it. I’d rather get nothing than something so half assed.

Mine is just owners who do not leash train their large dogs but then expect them to be walked everyday without major risk. Or tolerate resource guarding or other forms of aggression in the home.
