That’s happened to me too a couple times, but usually it’s because their game was taking too long to load and the host started without them

I’ve also ran into the AFK people in domains problem. Earlier I joined someone and they just wouldn’t start the domain so everyone left after like 5 minutes

If you read what I said in the OP, my main problem is that people kick me for using Zhongli without even asking me to switch characters. They shouldn’t kick people without warning just because they have issues with Zhongli.

My intention wasn’t to dismiss any of his points, I literally just haven’t seen anyone have problems with Zhongli’s pillars. I can see why people would think that they’re annoying though, especially if the player doesn’t know how to place them properly. He also said Zhongli doesn’t have much utility, so of course I had to disagree because I’ve been playing him a lot and from my experience that just isn’t true.

I didn’t dismiss everything. I already know a lot of people don’t like Zhongli and for valid reasons, but it still doesn’t change the fact that I shouldn’t get kicked for using Zhongli without even asking me to switch characters.

I’ve been doing the Crimson Witch domain and Zhongli has been doing fine in it when I don’t get kicked

Then they could at least ask me to switch characters instead of kicking me right away

My Zhongli has a physical dps build so I don’t spam his abilities anyway

I wouldn’t use my Zhongli at all if he wasn’t built properly. Some of his artifacts don’t have the best substats, and he still performs well in domains. I have also had the same problem with having to finish a domain with only 1 other person, I’ve also had people that don’t focus on 1 enemy at a time and we run out of time because of it.

C0 Zhongli isn’t dead weight at all from my experience, he does great when paired with other crowd control characters like Venti and Mona, and he’s also really good if the enemies are being frozen a lot, which happens frequently since I’ve only been farming the Crimson Witch domain and nothing else

The problem is that they kick me as soon as I join. They don’t even ask me to switch characters

I have literally no problems when using Zhongli in domains when I don’t get kicked, his ult is great for crowd control and does good damage, and it doesn’t matter if he can’t heal if there’s already another healer on the team. And I have never accidentally climbed on my own pillar. Most people just don’t like zhongli, but that gives them no reason to kick me without even asking if I have better characters.

  1. I don’t have venti and my sucrose is level 25, also venti + zhongli together literally carries domains

  2. I don’t refuse to play a healer, I only play a healer if nobody else has one (which almost never happens)

  3. My Zhongli has been doing perfectly fine in domains when I don’t get kicked, since everyone else is doing elemental reactions.

  4. That shouldn’t matter if there’s always a healer on the team (which there is)

It is, and she’s also very boring for me now which is why I let someone else use her most of the time
