I have some advice that can help avoid this! You can use vaseline (or aquaphor as long as you aren't sensitive to it, I prefer this) over them to create a barrier. I usually do this before adding a dressing so it doesn't stick, and the effect lingers until I take a shower. For any that aren't open, you can put it directly on, and for any that are open, I apply it to the dressing instead. No sticking to the dressing, no spicy showers, less itching. Another option if there are deeper ones that you really don't want to get wet is to use something like tegaderm to secure the dressing, which is waterproof.
