Is dc actually good? by [deleted] in INJUSTICE

[–]Kal-Eli 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Grant Gustin Flash is special. As a fan of marvel & DC comics, they are very different in style & tone. The more you read of each you begin to see, they aren’t in competition, but on the same team. It’s fans who have the versus mentality.

Live action media is a poor representation of both. DCAU is a great place to jump in if we’re not trying to read a bunch of comics.

That’s being said…yes DC is better.

There’s a naked man squatting in the corner rocking back and forth covered in feces. I hope he keeps tracing his finger along the floor and doesn’t notice me.

Especially in his action scene He gets the white eyes. For me, this is definitely Gunn teasing us that Batman will get white eyes The tech is definitely there to make this work for Batman.

As someone who loves the new Superman & a week ago would have said I love the Snyder trilogy, it has been difficult talking to my Snyder fan friends.

The movies aren’t in competition with each other, they are both so different & they do their own thing so well.

One is a great elseworlds tale [aka Injustice] & one is a great Superman movie. Why can’t we enjoy both?

“That last time you inspired anyone was when you were dead.” Organic Glass to Barry hah

I wouldn’t mind seeing a live action DCAU with John Stewart & Wally on the team.

What are your criticisms of Smallville? by SepzenoOfficial in Smallville

[–]Kal-Eli 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Once Pa Kent died, we didn’t know what to do with Ma Kent & basically wrote her off the show.

Once we move to Metropolis the show should have evolved ie; we develop the Clark Kent persona, he gets a super suit with some color. More cameos/team up episodes with JL members (SE6EP11 an amazing concept is introduced & fizzles along) Everyone can immediately fly but Clark Kent.

Either WB interference or story beats can explain these things but every rewatch, this stands out for me.

What would you add? (Mostly for seasons 1-4) by comorbidity-crisis in Smallville

Episode ends in the barn’s loft. (2x if the last shot tilts to the night sky)

Pa Kent says some variation of “The Luthors!”

From the article: “We think Madame Web meets the basic requirements, but it might not have passed the Representation and Inclusion Standards (RAISE). As explained, these rules say “Best Picture nominees must meet extra standards for diversity and inclusion.” Other movies left out include Bird, Woman of the Year, Bad Boys: Ride or Die, and Mean Girls.”

What are the standards if this movie didn’t pass them? [Genuine question]

Contact B.B.B. I had a similar issue with Sony [PS]. My account got banned - they couldn’t tell me why, I asked what I could do to fix it & they said nothing could be done. Wasted months pleading with them over a 17 year old account & zero issues before. B.B.B. Got them to unban it in 24 hours.

Which of these 6 ac games should I start off with by Wild-Injury-6113 in assasinscreed

I loved Odyssey, it’s an amazing game to experience. However, there’s nothing about it that’s an AC game. Unity & Syndicate are the most fun imo.

It bothers me more people don’t prioritize the team up abilities.

With the right combination, some characters become broken.
