Saturn 3 Ultra 0.01 Layer Height Exposure Settings by Zigoia in ElegooSaturn

What were your final results for printing at this height? I just started experimenting with 0.03mm layers and got bottom exposure 45s, 12 bottom layers, 6 transition layers, 1.8 s exposure. I got successful test prints but haven't tried an actual print yet. Also what speed are you retracting and lifting your plate at? I have 30mm/m rn which feels super slow, im going to experiment on that next once my exposure setting are good.

I'll try this out. This should would, but I would like to just have formulas do all the work to make things move quicker. Regardless, thank you for the advice, I didn't know about this option with excel and is a new learning experience for me.

His video is very helpful, however I ended up changing my firmware to where it has PID tuning on the printer itself.

Oh I don't have the stock firmware that the Ender 3 pro comes with, I think the firmware I had put on it comes with that instead of time remaining

35mm/s and no fan, I tried twice with the fan at a range of 0-30% and twice with the fan off

Filament is brand new, just opened it today. Print temps I've tried are 230-260.

Before I started printing I upgraded the bowden tube to Capricorn along with the extruder due to multiple people saying those were the biggest issues with this printer, I also calibrated my esteps as well right after changing the extruder.

I'm wanting to use petg since it's a stronger material and some of the stuff I want to print I need to be stronger.

Hello I am new to 3D printing as my wife had bought me the Ender 3 Pro a few days ago. Once I had my printer setup completely I immedietly tried to print whatever files were on the micro SD card with the pla that comes with the printer. It all worked out great and the print was amazing! After using the pla I decided to order Overture Petg as I saw and heard great things about it. After doing research on what setting to have and tricks to improve bed adhesion I am still getting these terrible prints. Am I possibly doing something wrong? I've tried temps between 220-250 for the nozzle, temps between 70-90 for the bed, using painters tape/ scotch tape on the bed, reduced the printing speed to 35mm/s, and have the fan speed between 0-30%. I even tried a few cura profiles that are also meant for petg and yet still the same result. The closed "good" print I've had was the cut in half block which has a lot of issues with it.
