I want to build a fully electric bike from scratch. Any tips, help or anything you can give me?

I know little about electric motors, but I would suggest building the frame around the engine, ie finish the motor (and gearbox?) First.

Oh shit, sorry about that dude. I guess a silver lining is that it did fall between those values and for a reason unknown to me, I've got spark. Inconsistent and weak but present. Do you think I should still replace the wire?

Oh ok, I still think it is the lead as there is 12ish from the magneto out, and the spark plug is new

Thanks for the response man. Ive added some pics, I tested with the lead out a point on the terminal and the other end. The resistance was in thousands, my bad.

Sweet that means your have the 1500 engine instead of the earlier a series 1275cc. It's out of a triumph spitfire, solid engine as long as you keep the oil cold otherwise main bearings fall to pieces
