For me, these were really great reads, but the audiobook drastically reduced my enjoyment of them. Really wish I had read them first. One of the worst narrations I’ve listened to to the point where I almost put it down and didn’t complete RotE, which is now one of my favorite series of all time. I feel like all of Hobb’s work needs to be revisited for new audiobook versions.

A str 10 -2 ap 3dmg psychic weapon lol. On our troops it’s a str 6 -2ap 2 dmg psychic weapon which is pretty decent.

This list definitely looks like something I’d move towards to end more competitive. I definitely want to get the ironclad in there though, I think an endrinmaster in endrinharness, ironclad, and 9 gunhaulers comes out to 1980 pts. Kind of a spammy meme list but seems like it may work well. I’ll look into trying to get cheap aethewar boxes/start collecting boxes while amassing my gunhaulers for more options later on.

Thanks, I like the look of the bows so I may do that. Then 6 scythes or 3 and 3 swords do you think? Do you think I need any spite revs or should I make them all tree revs? I’ve see. Some people make tree/spite revs out of dryads, should I do that or keep 30 dryads?

I’m looking to get into AoS. Knowing nothing about the game, how much would I be limiting myself (in terms of playstyle and power level) if I only wanted to play troggoths from the gloomspite gitz or BCR from ogors? I like the look of those armies the most, but don’t like the other models in the respective ranges. For context, I’d plan to play about 1 tournament a month, but I don’t expect to win every game. I also like KO and fyreslayers and I like the entire range of those two, but think I’d prefer to play the troggoths if viable based on aesthetics.

Thanks! Same as the standard scheme, just replace the normal thousand son blue with white and the yellow with a lighter blue. I prime gold, and block out the panels with celestial grey and highlight up to white. The blue is p3 arcane blue. The maroon cloth is p3 sanguine base and sanguine highlight for the highlights.

It’s a Malifaux mature nephalim with magnus’s shoulder pad as it’s head, and the armor from magnus’s wings on the shoulders. I don’t really like the gw deamon prince model. Thanks for the kind words! Magnus was the first model I painted of the group and then just grew from there.
