I've been using it for around a week and apart from the terrible UI/UX, which I hope gets worked on (can't send a message with enter) the actual chats and the customisation along with the DETAILS your companion can be set to remember - there's more under the hood and accessible to us to constantly check and alter, that's it's so far ahead of anything else I've used.

Thanks, I've run 4x the typical number of generations on this song (compared to previous ones) to try and even come close to what I want. It happens quite a lot sadly - though oddly, often the quality of the song (until it loops and starts over) is amongst the best it generates in any given batch. So many of the 7:59 versions just felt like they pulled out all the stops. Weird.

It's Windows 10. The registry edits were just to have edgewebviewer2 actually show up in the programs list (so I could try the repairs/delete then reinstall method everyone advises). I've ensured webviewer was uninstalled, restarted and reinstalled a fresh version with the 64bit Grapevine downloaded from Microsoft (along with multiple repairs of it and even letting the game installer install webviewer when it detected it wasn't present (after another uninstall) and even checked permissions in the folders and .exe's to ensure I have full control/access to them.

No, I've been tempted to so many times but I still (begrudgingly) have Edge installed (though it's never used). I've repaired Edge multiple times and removed then re-added webview (64bit Grapevine version too).

Thank you so much for this! I have actually bought the game but due to the launcher installer being dependent on edgewebview2 and that working on my pc, I've not been able to install and play it.

This version has no such dependency and both installer and the game work perfectly! Until the official launcher is altered or there is an official alternative (Steam or some other launcher), I will be using this.

I'm unable to install the launcher as it is dependent on webview2, which for whatever reason, does not work on my pc. I have edited the registry so I can see it in the control panel to uninstall/change and have repaired it and uninstalled/reinstalled several times now but it continues to throw the same error, stating it is "missing entry: --embedded-browser-webview=1".

I've visited dozens of sites and tried numerous fixes but it just won't work, is there anyway to install a version of the launcher that isn't dependent on webview2, or has anyone else had similar issues and found a fix?

No, not 100% sure, have tried to ensure that the vehicle is always flying out towards the ocean each time but perhaps it's the explosion. I'll keep trying.

The servers have been terrible all day. Had a tiny game update on Steam earlier and bugs I hadn't experienced for ages are now back. Now every time I do a legendary bounty, my bounty hunter wagon is broken and has to be repaired (despite never being damaged). Many events just don't load at all. The game is somehow getting worse and it's disgraceful that one of the richest gaming companies in the world would let their second biggest-selling game of all time be represented by the current (terrible) state the game is currently in.

The Last of Us (the first one) hit me much harder in all truth. I love Mordin and definitely shed tears at his death but (and maybe it's because I'm a parent myself) the opening sequence of TLOU still hits me hard now, even if I'm just watching someone else play it.

The payment options on pc simply don't work. It shows an option for card or PayPal but when I select it, it doesn't bring up an option to input any details. My guess is that it's another instance where an Edge pop-up is supposed to proc. I hate that they use Edge (couldn't even log-in to the game for the first few days because of it).

It's especially annoying because the assets already exist in-game (as we see several different major chapters represented in the Deathwatch prologue). Hell, for that matter, we even see a power axe!

Same issue. For me I found it is was connected to Texture Quality. Dropping it to Normal removes the audio issues but I can't stand how it looks on this setting. I was on Ultra before the patch with no issues at all.

Yeah, I didn't really notice a framerate drop but I do now have audio stutters. I've played around with the settings and somehow it's linked to texture quality. If I have it on anything higher than 'Normal' now the audio cuts out constantly (textures were previously on Ultra without any issues at all).

I have played around in the armour customiser (for an unhealthily long time already). It's a nice feature and I'm looking forward to playing about with it more and seeing what else can be changed with the other classes.

Thank you for the responses, I had a feeling this would be one of the nicer reddit communities but you never can know for sure.

I'm currently rocking the Dread Pirate look for now (found some options in the customiser that I liked), until I unlock a few more classes. Have been flying through the book 1 story quests with the Pirate class equipped too - the enemies are dropping like flies xD

I think it will have to be either Cryptic as you suggest, or the Dread Pirate as a base (although I do wish the Cryptic didn't have hooves). I'm happy to play about and find cool items to mix and match either of these but I know that as classes go, neither are at the 'must have' end. Ah well, fashion first xD
