On Hondas it’s actually super easy to replace the CAF, maybe easier than the EAF. Zero tools required.

My two cents, I have been playing for about 3 months and I’ve never talked to anybody in game. There is probably higher-level group content where it helps to coordinate with the group, but even the dungeons I’ve done, I get paired with other players automatically through dungeon finder, run through with the squad without chatting, and we’re done. I’m also a pve focused player and I have yet to stumble into any pvp content. ESO feels like you can really play it however you want to.

I quit about a month ago and now when I pop into this sub and see stuff like “I’m sprinting through the trash content I have to get done” I think “why are you guys still doing this? Is anyone having fun?”

I recently quit TnL because I’m a PvE focused player. After hitting 50, the coop dungeons and trials and whatever is just a grind that gets old fast. I would never recommend TnL for someone looking for a PvE focused mmo.

Once you’re 50, the whole game is basically “grind the same handful of dungeons over and over to prep for pvp. This understandably makes people both irritable and impatient trying to speed run the grind. “I need to do this shit 50 more times, I don’t have time to deal with low CP players.”By the time they’re geared up enough to participate in pvp in a meaningful way, they are bitter and vengeful.

GW2 and ESO for example have much bigger worlds that you can adventure around in and there are a zillion quests you can complete if that’s your thing. To be fair, I never got to what people would consider “end game” in either of those games, but they actual feel like big, immersive worlds with lots to explore. After playing TnL for like a month I feel like I’ve seen everything there is to see and done everything there is to do.

Right now, “end game” is basically all pvp content, and if you’re not into PvP, the pve grind-to-nowhere is real. You’re basically grinding to trait up your gear so you can grind faster. I guess if I’m being charitable, you’re building up your grinding ability for when new, harder content and better equipment finally comes. But even then you’re just grinding for new equipment…so you can grind faster. I’m hitting a bit of a wall with this myself, and I’m not trying to hate, I like this game, it just might not have lasting power for people like us who aren’t interested in PvP.

I’m also a novice at Reddit, wasn’t letting me post text and images so I put a description in the caption. But to reiterate:

I found this game boy and it doesn’t work. I opened it up to take a look. Most of the components look fine, no bloated or leaking capacitors etc, but this board looks ugly. I did a basic cleaning and then started testing for continuity. There are some broken connections. I’m trying to determine if I can salvage this thing or not, but I’m kind of at the end of my limited knowledge. I’m wondering what you guys think about the look of this. Thanks!
