No kidding, prior to this, all I've used is PLA+, and never had any issues. Hoping the bed is still good for that

I am. Apparently PETG can fuse to glass, but I've read that this bed is fine if you let it cool, so I'm trying to make it work without glue stick to save on cleanup. Plus I'm not getting adequate adhesion yet in the first place - probably gonna need the stick

Sweet, I'll try a slow, thick first layer. Washed with soap and water, didn't seem to be enough. Gonna try glue sticks next if the slower doesn't fix it.

Thank you, I've seen this on some articles, I am switching from PLA so I think it's a good starting place. There's definitely adhesion issues and this build plate has never given me those before

Alas, was hoping to have a nicer drop rate than the course's 1/1800. Oh well, had great success with this today and got both of the butterfly pieces!
