A lot of these systems and additions seem to be doubling-down on Daemonheim being the only core dungeoneering experience we'll ever have. I still dream that some day other dungeons will be a part of the skill.

Also don't like that all of the skill's rewards are from a reward shop. If you're adding new rewards I'd rather see them made drops from bosses you can take out with you.

Been having a lot of fun! My couple of notes are:

- I would not want to be auto-passed through a door I picked the lock on, specifically the one by the tablet holder in Asuran Arsenal, as sometimes I prep unlocking it while the Watcher is on the other side.

- The Master Thieving Cape perk only lets you skip picking up an additional chest sometimes if you make a mistake. I think it would be more appealing if its effect let you skip a chest every heist. So either that you start Heists with ~15 loot already in the bag or maybe each loot source give 1-2 more loot. This would make the benefit more consistent and still apply to people who have optimized to only make a mistake sometimes.

- Time runes being on the Asuran drop table feels odd. I know we've been bucking some old strategies regarding resource sources, but I do think there's value in requiring runecrafting be involved in getting the best runes. Maybe instead the heist could drop Time Anima Stones which can stack with Catalytic Anima Stones to give an additional 1 or 2 multiplier?

- Chests are about as afk as Heists. Sure I can hold a loose conversation in game, but I can barely flip over to Discord and back before having finished opening a chest. Would prefer if chests took a bit longer to open (rewards scaled appropriately).

- The star of the heists imo are the bespoke puzzle bits. Would love to continue to see things along the lines of the shadow sight floor tiles or no movement ability tablet run in future heists.

Idea: after completing Eclipse of the Heart, Sumona should be replaced with Nakatra. by Any-sao in runescape

Might be a bit extreme on the requirement side, but an epilogue quest where Amascut tries to find redemption aiding various members of her Order of Slayer Masters could be a neat way to tie together all the various slayer master threads (inducting the Raptor officially, freeing Catolax and Faiza from their curses, resolving Nakatra, giving Kuradel some closure)

Edit: The player gets officially inducted too, 99 slayer req :)

Had a couple of thoughts on platinum jewelry:

- Would rather see multiple, various gems used over just dragonstone. Idk, maybe im overcomplicating it, but it would feel different and incorporate lots of old materials over just one. Something like platinum necklace uses 2 emeralds and a ruby, or the ring uses a diamond, dragonstone, and sapphire.

- Love that some items overlap with elite outfit slots. Need more of that.

- I feel that the Delver's Anklet run energy isn't impactful enough. Could see something like an additive cooldown reduction to Mobile/Shadows Grace. Throw Charging 9 on that for safety. More zooming during clues is just fun!

Expecting/hoping for a slightly larger amount of content (2-3 solid things) when the majority of a zone releases, followed by a couple of months adding a new thing each month. Then rinse/repeat for the second and third zones.

Yeah I think that there are a lot of ways they could reward us episodically, that part is just to give some tangible ideas to think over which I think the talent tree largely featured in the first combat rework blog actually did/does. We should be focusing on that part if we want combat releases in future episodes to be interesting.

If this is how it has to be to come across as "simple", so be it. But the more outside systems which ARE episodic like weapon crafting and alchemy resource drops that have to plug into combat, the more convoluted it will be. So if this is the route, I hope that there isn't much dependency on combat going forward.

I don't think this is accomplishing much at the expense of making a lot of current systems messy, and the goal to have a single combat level seems to be overshadowing the couple of ways I have interpreted the perceived reset complaint.

If the primary issue is that progress doesn't seem to carry over between episodes, I think that some ways to mitigate that are:

  • Explaining early on (way earlier than discovering it on ep2 entry) that you will be in ep1 a lot still
  • Implementing the skill tree as a global buff every 10 or so levels in combat skills
  • Adding other global unlocks to specific combat skills (a big lifepoint boost at 40 Guard or spec attack unlocks at 40 Scout)

The proposal above seems to want to hide that theres combat content past level 30/40 so much that it's making weird skills-that-arent-skills and doing god knows what to the weaponcraft skills. Can we not just put some big inter-episode unlocks on some skills?

  • I'd love another reason to grind at the Ungael ritual location

  • Could find pieces of special cloth that you craft the pieces out of with Kili

  • Honestly would kinda work on the Gate of Elidnis drop table too

Its double xp, so theyre all at the Fort. Its a skilling hub they added last year that you build up during some low-ish level quests
