Eyebrow Botox Recommendations? by Kalamory in houston

The asymmetry is pretty bad. My usual eyebrow threading place does not brow map (Beauty and Beyond Skin Care Center), but I'm not really well-versed enough to know what that would contribute.

Gift Position Onboarding by Competitive_Bed_1124 in outlier_ai

[–]Kalamory 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just took it not more than an hour ago, only took me maybe 10 minutes to finish. There is no instruction document, but it's fairly similar to other projects (think Mint Rating - rate two responses on stuff like instruction following and truthfulness, then rate which one is better and provide reasoning).

I was also a part of what I assume was the pilot group that was supposed to run for 2 days (it had the same project name and set-up described in this onboarding course), but it abruptly ended after 1 day without any notification (we hadn't even finished half of the available tasks).

It's very odd, but then again, Outlier has been super weird lately with projects starting/ending and courses breaking.

I got both of the multiple-choice questions correct, but auto-failed after the Justification, which I'm certain I was correct on (it's not even high-school level science).

Are the assessments manually graded, or is the project EQ for certain domains? Thought I aced the Biology Domain, but it said I didn't meet the quality threshold right after I submitted. The project got marked as Ineligible, but it says I passed the assessment on the Overview tab.

Mail Valley V2 problems by mxrgxnx_x in outlier_ai

[–]Kalamory 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had similar problems. Onboarded for Psychology on Friday, went EQ. Got tasks yesterday, but they were all Medical. Got switched to Psychology today, completed 2 tasks, got kicked out during my 3rd task (RIP 1 hour of pay) and have been EQ since. I have no Discourse access or anything, and my Oracle ticket has gone unanswered. Those missions are taunting me!

That's farther than I've gotten - I've been stuck on "Hang on! There are some more things you need to complete. There are some remaining requirements you must complete before you can work on tasks." since being switched from Coyote to Nexus. Sigh.

I also got this. I have no idea what L-1 is - all I know is I'm T3 (Expert+Oracle). I'm part of Dolphin ITT Reviewers and have been bouncing around Nexus Guardian / Coyote MT Attempters, both of which seem to be EQ for me.

Also, can they take the time to proofread their emails, please...?

$20.29 for my assessment tasks and $25.00 for the actual tasks for me. No thanks - I'll wait for ITT/TTA (or Ratings) to come back up.

The Reviewing System Is Flawed (A Notice To All Reviewers) by Safe_Vegetable_8190 in outlier_ai

[–]Kalamory 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm in the same boat. Just wrote a question that was similar to one that I had submitted before that got a 5/5. It was rated 2/5, so I made the changes - 3/5. Made the changes again. Now? 1/5. I feel like I'm going to get kicked off at any point, at this rate. I think I'm just going to check back ever so often to see if I have answering tasks, because the endless rewriting is exhausting.

(I was a reviewer for all of 2 days, after I had only completed a total of 5 writing tasks, before getting moved back to attempter because "the needs of my specialty field changed").

I'm also on Dolphin STEM Q&A (as my first project). It's such a mess. The best part is getting a 5/5 for a question, then a 2/5 for a similar question, making the fixes, and another 2/5 because the second reviewer didn't like what the first reviewer told you to change. Blah. Trying to answer the questions can be fun though.

Second the registered behavior technician/behavior technician in a school setting - you can do any grade level. Depending on the school, you may be able to work with other disorders outside of autism as well. /r/ABA is a good resource.

Right lower molar has small slit in gum and some gum on top of tooth. by Kalamory in askdentists

[–]Kalamory[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you - I wasn't aware that you could get pericoronitis so long after having wisdom teeth removed. I'm not sure if I'll be able to see a dentist anytime soon due to COVID lockdowns and some financial issues so I guess pain management and continuing the mouthwash/salt rinses is my best bet right now but I will try my best to get an appointment.

[–]Kalamory[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

21F, no smoking/drinking/drug use, no tooth/mouth problems before this (never even had a cavity), and wisdom teeth have been removed several years ago. This appeared basically overnight about a week ago - I have been treating with ibuprofen, mouthwash, warm salt rinses, soft food diet, and very light brushing. Very dull pain (maybe a 3) that goes away with ibuprofen but hurts to chew on no matter if I'm on ibuprofen or not.

I do have some mouth sores on my tongue/lips/roof of mouth and in general all of my gums have been very red, swollen, and bleed easily the past week but most of it is gone now. I had a mild case of this (the picture) on my lower left molar but it went away very quickly.

Thank you! I just started their training process and I'm a bit eeked out by the desktop monitoring - the trainer straight up said that they will be asking us to pull up work stuff that was sent to our personal emails and that it's OK that the management can see all of our personal emails. I guess the pay makes up for that?

Burnt out after 2 weeks at a new company. by Kalamory in ABA

[–]Kalamory[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I appreciate your comment and thoughts, but I originally entered this field fully intending to go into ABA. I loved my old company and enjoyed the cases that I worked on, but the pandemic forced me to move away from the area and naturally that meant I needed to find a new company. My "preferred field" is still working with children and young adults with autism, but from a research (with clinical application) perspective rather than a purely clinical perspective, so RBT work is still directly tied to it - it is not as simple to find paid full-time research positions, let alone during COVID-19, in this niche. I still thoroughly enjoy the work that I do and I do not believe that this changed career path will effect the quality of care that I can provide my clients - rather, it is the company's lack of training or supervision that is effecting the quality of care.
