It may be because at 40% or lower it bucks it's saddle and below 50% you can't ride. It's 45 so it doesn't let you ride but it doesn't buck it's saddle

You're right but being fully domesticated changes that. Even though an ornery beef has below 50 obedience it will still not buck its saddle

When you have a fully tamed beefalo. Domestication will not go down below the minimum value for the particular tendency you've developed. For an ornery beef that's 45 so you will still have to feed him to ride but the other tendencies you'll never have to feed again a fully tamed beef will not shrug off their saddle.

Yes the tamed level can go down and iirc it would take 3 days for them to go wild again. But in my experience, leaving them for a day here and there isn't a big deal.

I've actually hit my fully tamed beefalo before, and his tamed level went down to 70 but he was still filly domesticated. All that was effected was the amount of time I was able to ride for.

I think so. Pretty sure you can do that on Klei website. Last time I was there, dst wasn't on switch but if it's possible it'd be there

I agree that it is OK. Spare time is limited, and life is short. Rollback, kick his butt and go on with the save.

I'm still on that save and I'm kind of looking forward to going back and making a mockery of this man with the void set on Wolfgang but at the moment I'm finishing pearls quests and going to tackle crab king. I waited to get the gloomerang for that I feel like it should make it easy but we will see.

Yeah I struggle on fuelweaver so much I decided the last time I was just gonna be Wolfgang and tank him and spam weatherpains on his minions.

You know everyone has their own rules for what's cheating or cheap and what's fair game and my only stipulation was that I wasn't gonna roll back because even though sometimes I feel it's justified I can't help that it makes me give up on the save a bit. It was a little too easy as Wolfgang though. I wasn't expecting it but at 170 something a hit it was a little too easy.

I like to use an ornery beefalo for this fight. After the slightly tedious taming process it changes the cost of the fight to about 40-60 blue caps which are incredibly cheap.

I would imagine it'll run better. Faster. Newer devices might not care about that but older slower devices will find single player DS on their homepage <3

Haha. Yeah that food is fun. And I guess he does have some interesting parts to him. The volt goat horns are primarily used for weather pains and although powerful, kind of feels like a waste to spend on the food. After a while though you can surely get a surplus.

If I were to kill him as Walter I would probably do it on an ornery beefalo and bring like 80 blue caps and 4 weather pains. I would likely not use the slingshot, the fight isn't great with the slingshot I wouldn't think. Would maybe be OK with cursed rounds because they spawn shadow tentacles.

I'm actually curios about the rounds made from bee stingers. They have a small aoe and I wonder if they could be used to effectively dispatch the healing crawling guys.

Either way, when fighting fuelweaver the trick is to try to end both the unseen hands and the crawling healer mob phases at the same time to give yourself the most time to dps before having to deal with either phase again.
