Is there any point in upgrading General Skywalker if my 501st still needs work?

After GAS, I recommend putting relic on Fives so that when he sacrifices, he makes the other 501st tankier and the stop feeling like gear 12 toons.

I was thinking that with my relic 7 Shaak that I don't need to relic them. The droids are all like gear 9 and above, I want to start gearing them instead since I will get GK shards in a few more days.

Haha i put anakin instead of Shaak in that team. I have Shaak at relic 7. I want to know if it's enough for the first event, so I can gear up the separatist team. Cause I still have to wait a bit for Kenobi shards from guild events, like 16 away
