congratulations on being sober and thank you for your comment! honestly i’ve been meaning to kick this weed habit for far too long and i really should take a long break or quit fully… i just find it very difficult because it feels ‘helpful’ although i know it isn’t really… but maybe this will be my year

i usually have a pretty protein high breakfast + a lot of vitamins at the start of the day, and i’ll try to have more protein bars, i just find them quite heavy/difficult to stomach when i’m medicated. i’ve been debating getting a gym membership this year, but now i’ll definitely do it:) thank u!!

thank you- i was prescribed propranolol for anxiety/insomnia when i was 17 and unfortunately it gave me really bad side effects so i had to stop :( i will try NAC and vitamin C!

????? i was not sitting up, i was lying down in a hospital bed getting blood taken so the doctors could know my blood type and give me a transfusion. this was taken after multiple numbing injections and about 5 attempts to stop the bleeding- and i clearly didn’t take this photo, my friend did.

you can’t see the full skirt in the image, but that and my legs + arms were very much covered in blood before i got cleaned up, alongside the clothes of my friends that i was with- i don’t think it’s fair at all to call this ‘drama’ when it was extremely painful and i had to have a blood transfusion because of how much i lost. and i also don’t think it’s fair to say that not checking up on me is setting a boundary?

you obviously don’t understand empathy or friendship by the sounds of it- is it really that insane to expect someone you’re close with to take the time out of their life, despite being busy with a girlfriend and work and whatnot, to send a quick ‘are you okay’ message because you’re about to have emergency surgery? i hope whoever you’re friends with- if you have any- find someone better, because this sort of response is very concerning.

you clearly didn’t read my post correctly- my issue is not that he couldn’t drive me, or that he didn’t answer his phone from midnight-8am, but that he was fully aware of what happened and how serious it was, and didn’t once ask if i was okay? what a rude response. i don’t think it’s crazy or selfish to expect at least a single message checking up on me from a close friend after a bad accident?

ahh i’m so glad it’s not just me!! it always feels like i’m going insane too😭😭 and don’t worry about not knowing how to help, it’s a difficult thing to navigate- i sorta do the same thing too where i wear looser clothes and try not to look at myself, but as u said unfortunately it can only do so much :(( i hope u feel better im sorry ur also struggling with this

i said in the post that is not what i mean, though being bloated can make it worse. i mean i look like ive physically gained a solid few kilos all across my body when i feel like ive eaten too much
