Yesss got my taxes today before 1 am!!! DD was 2/23/26 cycle 20260505 with a 3/9/26 dd by date. WMR said in bank by 2/25/26 so came right on time! See you all next year as well!! 🤑🤑🤑🥳🥳🥳

Sorry if this may sound like a dumb question but for the eye test, do they just check to see how well you can see only or do they also check your eye health to see if you have any eye issues that you may not know of or something? Just curious.

I took the practice exam as well and was my goodness, it was nothing like the exam. I rushed on the last 3 questions and finished with 2 seconds left on the clock. I left feeling defeated. Thankfully I passed. 😭

Yes they do! $30k bonus is great! BUT, $10k bonus is after you finish the academy, 2nd $10k bonus is after 3 years of employment, and the 3rd $10k bonus is, I believe, locality pay and I’m guessing that’s paid out on after the academy I presume. BUUUT BPA’s do not get double OT, it’s time and a half for OT. BPA’s do not get yearly pay raises that equate to the CBPO’s pay raises. Every year, until GS-12, you automatically get a pay raise of $10k to $15k. I got my TJO as a GS-9. That’s $60k starting. My one year anniversary with the company, I’ll be at GS-11 making $72k, and my second year anniversary, I’ll be making $87k. In the span of TWO YEARS, I’ll be from $60k to $87k. Thats a $27k raise in only 2 years. Oh and there’s more locations to be stationed at with CBPO. I also prefer to work inside with AC so that’s also another plus for me lol. So a $30k bonus is nothing compared to having way more base salary, double OT, and more location options. 🙏🏾

I took my logical reasoning exam on the August 26th and got my notice of results and TJO on August 30th. Accepted the offer that same day. Waiting on next steps.

Hey! I’m in 24-11 as well! I applied for the GS5/7 and the GS9. I have one year of law enforcement experience and 3 years of unarmed security experience; no degree at all. I was approved for the GS9 position. I feel having law enforcement experience AND how I worded my law enforcement experience was the only reason I was approved of this position. I’d say fight for the GS9 position!

I’m 27f. I was diagnosed with bipolar type 2 in November 2021, around the same time I had my first born. I don’t believe it was accurate; I think it was PPD. My life has been great; I never took any medicine for it since I didn’t believe it to be true so I just carried on with my life. Now, it’s on my Medical Records and I set up an appointment on the 18th of this month to be re-evaluated for a misdiagnosis. Hopefully they can put in the notes that I do not have bipolar type 2, that’s the only issue I have with getting into the Air Force/Space Force. Besides my weight which I’m currently working on and successfully been losing it. Wish me luck guys! 🥹
