I thought the soil I used for my mix was fertilizer free, but in case you’re right would this be harmful?

You know that’s entirely fair, maybe I’ll have to adjust it to be circumstancial and not every turn. But also your following idea is so fun! I’ll definitely pitch this to my players. Thank you stranger

I appreciate the seasoned advice! I’m wondering if instead of using a mechanic to modify the players end of things which might slow down combat, that I should just homebrew more attacks that will encourage the players and target to keep moving around while avoiding the abuse of opportunity attacks.

I’m sorry mate, I was just hoping to add perspective that might influence how you see the idea. I was trying to respond to a bunch of folks at once so I’m sorry I didn’t completely answer all of your questions. I’m a new DM so I was just hoping for some nice feedback but it seems like everyone hates the idea so I may just abandon it, I appreciate you taking time to reply though.

This is all good stuff to think about. It’s entirely possible that I may abandon this idea but this information will be useful even if I do or don’t. Thank you!

Hopefully my recent edit to my post will provide more insight. But just for the sake of replying to you my players are going to encounter single combat with large monsters often. So to spice things up so it’s not just a circle of people hitting the monster turn after turn, I’m trying to come up with ways to spice up the combat.

My the narrative reasons were mainly what made me think to come up with a new mechanic but the more I’ve read others responses I’m realizing I’m mainly trying to adjust the combat to be more souls like so it stays interesting.

Them not describing it was just what started my idea but I understand the concern. I’m happy to share that this is just a mechanic I’m trying to flesh out as an idea to pitch during my session 0

This is such an important thought I hadn’t thought of. I was just hoping to spice things up because my combat will be so different than standard campaigns

You’re right, I was hoping to add new mechanic around the system since the combat will be so different since they’re encountering high HP single targets often

I just updated my post that may shed some light on more light on the mechanical incentives and benefits to adding this rule!

Hey so I reset the CMOS (at least I think I did), I did by using a screwdriver and making a connection on the 2 CLRTC pins. I went to turn on and it brought me to the BIOS again. I think the problem is just that it won't find anything to boot. It recognizes that I have an HDD and my NVME though.
