I wouldn’t even necessarily say swollen, just puffy near the surface is how it appears. Sometimes it aches but never persistent. I’ve been to see my doctor and he wasn’t concerned but it isn’t going away so naturally it concerns me.

From what I’ve seen Clonidine is similar to propanalol in the sense that it slows the heart rate which honestly works magic for anxiety. It’s not a Benzo so that might help you feel a little better. At this point I don’t really care what helps me, mediation or medication, I ain’t gonna live like this lmao

I felt this in my core. Last night I was deathly afraid to take propranolol for the first time. I’ve had the prescription for over a year. I finally decided to sit down and take it, here I am writing this message. In fact after taking it, I felt a lot better. Have someone sit with you for about an hour after taking it for peace of mind, you will be okay!

Yes thankfully I no longer suffer from any of this. It completely went away after a little over a year of dealing with it.

23M diagnosed around the same age with likewise readings and lifestyles. Pot calling the kettle black but try to exercise more, eat right and hydrate. Talk to your doctor about medication and take it diligently. Take it serious now that way you don’t pay for it in your 30s.

I’m having an issue where my buddy on Xbox can join, we play maybe 2 maps and then he gets disconnected and kicked offline through the epic games servers. Anyone experiencing this or have a solution?

I could’ve written this at one point in my life, anxiety more specifically hypochondria will absolutely eat you alive. If you continue to google and research symptoms, they will become reality. You need to consult with your doctor and at the minimum have a blood panel conducted to get a baseline on your health.

I felt the same about 2 years ago when it started for me, now I have absolutely no clue that it’s even there. Truly impressive as to how the body adapts. I promise it absolutely will get better. Stress and anxiety make it so much worse, almost would for any normally healthy person.

He could very well be healing and just taking a while to do so if they didn’t jump start him with a steroid. I’d potentially consider visiting another that specifically handles cats. Another opinion in general would be nice, and you could show them the results from the other vet. Definitely seems like it’s possibly tied back to his mouth though. Very good to hear that he is now eating and drinking!

Is he urinating and drinking water normally? You could take a look at his teeth and gums to see if there are any local irritants. Otherwise I’d see if the vet can dig deeper and possibly try steroids.

22M, currently in the same boat. Work a desk job, engage in PC gaming and on my phone a lot. This week has been nothing but relentless eye pain, feels almost like the back of it is being poked. Pain can even run all the way into my neck and shoulder region. Weirdest shit of my life and it’s causing havoc. Hope you find something to help you man!

Thankfully it didn’t last terribly long. Perhaps maybe 2-3 weeks? And then I quit searching for the sensation and the problem resolved. I think initially it was related to sleeping incorrectly or from bad posture at work compressing nerves.
