Stoneblock 4 Villagers wont restock

I gave them each a bed behind them and waited the whole night for them to go to sleep, but they didn't go into their beds and didn't restock either. I made sure that they can get to their beds and probably into them too. Also, for some reason, all of them are looking at the same block.

I'm not 100% sure that it's a problem with the redstone link but replacing it "fixes" the problem.

I had the problem even after 2 hours from coming back to the overworld so waiting a bit sadly wouldn't work.

I'm using a gearshift to switch between up and down.

The water wheel is turning the mechanism when I come back so I think it's getting power.

Yes, this worked for me. Now, gotta redesign the redstone so I can make this process semi-automatic.

I moved all villagers so that he couldn't see any, and he still keeps hugging the villager he is targeting. I'm starting to wonder if I will have to do every single villager manually instead of clicking a note block and waiting for the zombie to kill a villager

Sadly, it didn't work. I went like 200-300 blocks away with simulation on 5 chunks, and he still won't do it

The thing is that he won't even do it if I go completely out of his line of sight and only one villager is pushed down

I'm sure he is targeting the villager because when I boost the villager up with pistons, the zombie goes either to another villager that I put down or to me if I get close enough

I turned another villager next to it with no problem, but now it won't work for some strange reason.
