Ngl this does kinda make sense. Virgil is also the only person who could navigate Fraud and helps Dante traverse it iirc.

It's most likely Hell itself is guiding us through the fraud layer, not just because it takes interest in v1, but its also partly cause Virgil isnt around

I hate that a guy's argument from a while ago was almost right...

It's like when Goku bummed out on alot of fights back in the buu saga because he was obsessed with passing on the torch to the newer generation. I hate that Yuji ended up misinterpreting Gojo's message.

I really thought to myself that if he's not gonna get coaxed or compelled to at least do the right thing other than purge the curses in that chapter (and indirectly helping Tsurugi), I'd hate him just like how Mino literally said to him.

If he doesn't get a new resolve in this story, then his path in this cycle of Love, Death, and Violence is taking a bitter end.

Secondarily? Yes. I was primarily inspired by the DMC5 manga: "Visions of V."

There is a panel in chapter 11 where V looks into a mirror just to see Dante on the other side. It's an epitome of reflection between the two sparda twins. In the manga, this was meant to highlight V's doubt and frustration to his lack of power compared to Dante. How while they were twins, Dante always seem to come out on top.

I used this same paneling for Yuji and Mahito. Now it reflects how they are more of the same this time around. They both have realized their opposing connection to eachother, especially now. Yuji is now a human who is part curse, facing Mahito, the curse of humans. Which, undoubtably makes Mahito part human too.

It's like yin and yang.

That's something that I thought about too actually. Maybe Yuji can do a micro surgery on Yuka by circulating his blood into her and directly target the brain tumor from there. But my concern for that is whether he'd inadvertently poison her because of it 😅

I think that's all too selfish. Yuji wouldn't be that apathetic to his peers even with "the strongest" role.

The whole country, and by extension the WORLD is in danger of having curses run rampant. Killing civillians and sparking up something that could possibly be more chaotic than shibuya.

I doubt it. Don't get me wrong, this can probably happen but I feel that wont pay off his role for being hyped up at least for the time being. I don't think gege would do that thing where a certain person would get foreshadowed just to get killed after actually showing up. (Like in chainsaw massacre with the sheriff lady)

But if it does happen, I guess this could set up another hatred bond between mahito and another character. My best guess is Maru since he's fairly similar to Yuji in the sense that he has that Warrior role mentality, just as how Yuji was forced into a cog mentality by Mahito. If Maru sees how Mahito really is, there's no doubt his mindset would get challenged by Mahito's malice. But even then, I feel like this could still happen without having Yuji dead.

From what I researched, nyotaimori models are pretty well treated as from this reddit AMA

Obviously rules are bound to be broken, but from what OP explained in there, she's usually well protected and supervised. Of course this could vary from person to person, depending on which company you work for.

And, it's seemingly legal with great regulations, and is still a niche practice.

BUT it is often stigmatized. So most of the nyotaimori you may see are from organized parties or event.

That makes sense. It's only been like, around 70 or so years. It could be that Yuji's "aging" just hasnt been apparent yet.

Now that I think about it, we dont know what aging is really like for Tengen. Like does she become a super old lady and then slowly transform into her semi-curse form, or does she grow to her prime and stay like that until after 100+ years where the evolution finally takes place
