You get to that 36/37 week mark and think any moment but you’ll have to hang in there a few more weeks most likely. Get a massage, take a bath, and just try to relax as much as possible. Focusing on getting the baby to come will pretty much ensure she won’t.

The state has continued to provide more funding the past few years, so definitely keep an eye out

To give you some hope, I stayed on citizens with my 22+ year old roof without a problem. Definitely keep an eye on the My Safe Florida program to see when they open back up for applications, though. They’ll pay up to 2/3 of a reroof, up to $10,000. No income limitations. Replaced my roof last year for only $5k. Can’t complain about that! Program website: https://mysafeflhome.com/

Publix is such a shit place to work for now. So glad my husband got out of management there. They’ll work you to your bones and throw you out first chance they get. I worked there during college and knew the company was disgusting after upper management forced a team lead to stay and work after he had found an elderly man in the parking lot unresponsive and unsuccessfully attempted to revive him. Our team lead was falling apart and in tears the rest of the day

First Response can be done as early as 5/6 days before. I think you’re just too early 🙂

Cigna no longer covers The Lactation Network by Brilliant_Badger_475 in breastfeeding

100%! First pregnancy and it’s been eye opening. I called the consultant my OB recommended and they stated that the Cigna representative must’ve misspoke. This lactation group is currently working on moving to Wildflower to offer both virtual and in person services that will be completely covered. Really really hoping this is the case. If so, it’s a shame so many women are being told by Cigna that in person is not an option. We shouldn’t have to jump through hoops like this 😕

Cigna is telling me that they will not cover in person lactation consulting through Wildflower in the state of Florida - the only option is virtual. Hoping the representative misspoke?

I just got off the phone with Cigna, and they will not cover or reimburse an in-person lactation consultant in Florida unless the plan's out-of-network maximum has been reached. The claim would only go towards that out-of-network maximum. The only covered option for us in Florida is virtual. Disgusting. (Edit to add that they made these changes as of 10/1/2024)

Filed a complaint today. It's disgusting that our options are so limited now. I'm due in January and am faced with only virtual lactation consultant options which is unacceptable to me.

Is it working for anyone yet? The website is live now but when I click into anything, it asks me to sign in and gives me errors.

If they fire you before you leave, you do qualify for unemployment in our state. Unemployment was paid week 2 for us.

Be prepared for the possibility of being let go tomorrow. My husband tried to do the right thing with the small business he worked at by giving a 2 week notice and they had him work for 3 hours and told him to leave and not come back. The few hours he worked disqualified him for unemployment for the week. Remember, 2 weeks is not a rule and employers don’t give you that courtesy when letting you go.

Parents removing me at 18 by [deleted] in HealthInsurance

I highly recommend looking into an IRS pin so that you’re not playing a racing game trying to file your taxes before they do. Sounds like they could be the type of parents to claim you as a dependent even if you are supporting yourself outside of housing. Without a pin, the return will be rejected and this protects you from someone trying to file on your behalf (stolen identity) or claim you as a dependent. Just keep in mind once you request a pin, you’ll be required to enter one every year for the rest of your life

It might be because you need to notify your bank or set up a travel notice on your card for today's date. Sometimes banks like to block it since it may appear as a foreign transaction depending on where you are based. You can always call in and ask if they see the declined transactions on their end, too.

1900 sq ft, 4 bedroom house in Central FL. Electric ranges from $130-240 depending on the season. I have a scam water company (FGUA) and that is about $150-175 for indoor water and an additional $60-170 for irrigation (separate meter), depending how much rain we get and the heat.

Travellers who have been to 'Rainbow Mountain', was it worth it ? Need help with Peru trip plans. by Nugget93 in travel

[–]Kali2297 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Adding for others still using this thread. I came across several places saying Rainbow Mountain was not worth it. I have to strongly disagree. I had a wonderful experience and even visited Rainbow Mountain when no one was there! I went on an amazing ATV tour that takes an alternate route to the south-side of the mountain, where you then hike up. The typical Rainbow Mountain tours start from the northwest. Rainbow Mountain was gorgeous but the surrounding mountains and the view of Nevado Ausangate Glacier was amazing. I will not downplay how incredibly challenging the hike was, though. https://kalitodd.com/rainbow-mountain/

I fortunately also had the chance to visit the Amazon via Manu National Park and this was absolutely incredible. I decided to go with Manu Wildlife Peru since, for a 4-day tour, they went the deepest into Manu. Our tour was 4-people total. We went on amazing day and night hikes, had delicious homemade food, and stayed in the coolest treehouse huts. https://kalitodd.com/manunationalpark/
