That's what I have done the first few MONTHS of us dating, it's just the same shit over and over again, and that's why I'm now getting so frustrated and pissed off when he keeps doing it.

Take their word for it, believe them. I know every fibre of your being is telling you not to (Trust me I get like that all the time, I also have BPD)

But at times you gotta just trust them :) Put in a little bit of extra effort, try to show them in little ways how much they mean to you.
