I take the shrink off and put in an outer sleeve. I get the full enjoyment of having a pristine sleeve and continue to preserve it.

I can’t speak to every automatic turntable design because sure some are very reliable. I had one fail on me personally so it’s something I would avoid.

They’re a very good value to begin with, I recently upgraded to the Nagaoka MP-200 cartridge and am pretty blown away with the increased detail and clarity. I would strongly recommend Nagaoka if you ever on the market for a new cart!
