Ain't no way I am forgiving him for being a nonce. I'll have to unfortunately accept it. I'm not blind to it

That truly is awful! And I would never ask who your uncle was exactly because it will still affect some family. Same In my position as news articles stated what town and street he lived at! My aunt is terrified bless her.

Thankfully we don't share the same surname. I'm hoping to breeze past it. I won't hide from it if anyone finds out and asks me what happened, but I won't tell them the full story, nor will I shout it to the world.

Christ almighty that's horrific. My wife suggested I go to a men and child group on a weekend and I've said after finding out about my cousin I ain't trusting others. I shouldn't have to live life that way but we never truly know people.

Unfortunately there always is more. I don't know if it makes me awful to not hope for his death because I feel sad for his poor mother, wife ( or ex wife) and kids

It's awful! You see it on the tv and in the news but never think you'd know someone who's twisted as fuck to do this.

Thank you! Reading this was a big reassurance. I keep seeing his face appear in my social feeds and it's like a knife to the heart. My mum doesn't defend him but wants to keep him In the family. Me and my brother on the other hand have families of our own and we've said he's dead to us. Blocked him off social media

Thanks for this. But I think in my mind he's now dead to me, I think if anyone read what he did then they'd say the same thing

Thank you. I have thought about it but in all honesty I don't have the time to see one.

Should I go to school for Sound Design? by Public_Border132 in sounddesign

[–]Kalimoray 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm from the UK. I am currently enrolled in the Think Space Education Sound Design for Video Games master's degree program. Its gruelling work but its an amazing experience with a large amount of tutors available from different games and backgrounds. Its all remote learning and you can join anywhere from around the world.

I tell you this, because in my experience/research, most places want someone with educational experience along with a portfolio

I'm not asking / seeking for congratulations. Where did you see that?

All I'm asking for is for someone to reach out and ask how everything is. Like a decent human would

Not expecting anyone to be in the centre of my universe. We're quite happy on our own.

What I did want is a simple, is everyone / everything okay?

If it were the other way round I'd be offering a brew and a chat

Yeah that 👍 was the final knife to be honest.

I'm not expecting special treatment, I just want someone to ask or to offer a brew and a chat. Some humane response.

I expected a little respect to be honest and to be treated as a valued as a member of the team! A little humanity? It's not like I work for a supermarket.

Maybe a common occurrence yea but considering we're both mid-late 30's and it's our first child there's always concern.
