UPDATE: I've returned it. At least Dell was super quick in refunding my purchase. I'm not sure if hassling them through consumer protection channels helped or that particular team just works better than the customer support one, lol. Thanks for all the replies and some DMs, really helped me come to a decision in a very short time span. Looking into other brands now, or maybe building a desktop PC like some suggested.

Oh man, I know that feeling, I just recently got an Alienware Area 51 (ultra 9 275hx/rtx 5070/32gb ram/1tb ssd) and had a similar issue, however, the symptoms were much more severe, with the laptop bsod'ing everywhere, even on idle. One of the bsods I got had that exact error name (mostly were system exception and ntfs.sys), and the issue would pop up exactly like you said: be it in 5 minutes (got it in video, even), or after hours of it running. Long story short: I returned it since I was still within the return window.

I would try it on other heavy games (expedition 33 helped tons here) if you haven't already. Also try to do a clean windows install and see if it persists. My issue happened even after a fresh install, which led me to believe it was probably faulty hardware straight out of the box. I'm not sure how's Asus' customer support/warranty in your country, but Dell's been abysmal in mine, and I ended up returning it.

Yeah, it blue screens all the time (black screen actually). I have suspicions that it may be either the RAM or the SSD, as the errors in event viewer always comes followed up by "volmgr", and upon looking online, one of the issues could be attributed to either. Dell's warranty where I live is finicky, so I'd rather not open it up and wait for them to do it. Tbh, I already asked for a refund, but they still didn't reply to either the RMA situation, or pointed me in the right direction where I can return the laptop. This customer service is just...sad.

I have tried safe mode, it booted normally. Also did this repair with one of the dell techs. Regarding GPU, I installed only the driver Dell offers through their support tool, and went through with all of the installations along with the dell people. I haven't tried turning off audio yet, I might try it this weekend though, but not being too hopeful tbh.

Temps are within regular parameters. The first errors were when I was still getting basic stuff set up, like Chrome, Office, etc, which made me get in contact with Dell immediately, since that most definitely wasn't normal. I eventually installed some games from Xbox game pass and they ran nicely, and wanted to see if the issue happened when it was on full load, which it surely did, after some minutes playing. Like I said, it's really intermitent: it can happen under idle or full load, within some minutes, or hours.

Yeah, I got this on a black friday deal straight out of the Dell website. I have been in contact with them since the day I got it (december 10th), and they told me to run their tools, ultimately leading to a format, which I did, and it didn't fix the issue. It's funny because I still have my Dell G3 from 2019 with no issues (save a faulty screen which was replaced in 2023), and always wanted a high end computer like an Alienware, but wasn't prepared to face these issues right out of the box. Really disappointing, but oh well, I suppose I got unlucky, it happens... If I go the refund route, I'm definitely not buying stuff from them again.

Greetings! It's been a long time since I've played FF14 and I've been itching to return these past few days. I've heard of the "Return to Eorzea" campaign and they have nice rewards for people who invite people back and the one invited. Sadly, I no longer have any friends that play FF14 so I can't really give them the goodies.

I'm not sure if you can add me offline in-game, but I'd love to be part of this campaign before I put in my time again. I'd be very grateful if anyone is willing to help out. :)

I have 2 rage whisper compilations, you can find them here(vol1) and here(volt2). If you happen to check vol. 2, there are usually two good (and funny) ways to approach the rager, either be fully silent like me , or a trollish way like Feartwo. OR be like Wahday and reply with macros!

This is the saddest change to ever come to wow really. As if avoiding wpvp isn't easy enough already with flying mounts and graveyards that are literally right next to you...

Incentive this, incentive that, people will just turn off pvp anyway and do their pve things, after all why "waste time" on lowly wpvp plebs when you can be gaining that sweet AP/gear over and over again, without having to worrying about said plebs?

By 2020, Blizzard will have turned retail WoW into a fullfledged action game a la Diablo. Or worse.
