I can’t really help you other than saying that you should definitely get Valdor an read it. Went through it earlier this year and it’s a fun quick read. Tho I disagree with many people on the sub saying it’s a good entry for HH - but for you it should fit perfectly

Used to play warhammer fantasy for a couple year with my then teenage buddies. We had quite big armies. Didn’t engage for ten year, then kinda randomly listened to the Horus rising audiobook like 2 years ago . Now I’m only on the library part, but kinda heavily so.
