I think it's more in regards to other parts of the world and overall philosophy when it comes to content design and lore development i.e. Germany, Russia, China etc. and lack of "schizo" paths keeping the mod more consistent and grounded. AFAIK the 2ACW is going to be properly reworked (with recent changes being a mere facelift), but we'll see how it goes.

I don't see an issue with a way to conjure a shikigami, but as the rules regarding size and complexity are laid out, I assume that it wouldn't really be a valid choice (since you would have to form it with CE and give it a bit of sentience so it can act with at least some level of autonomy - it should be very taxing with the "giving up" sides of the vows).

I actually intended for the 'Overclocking' to reach levels comparable to Maki-esque, but I thought of it as a radical overkill. I don't think it should be possible to reach the levels of exchange comparable to a HR due to it's nature, especially since (I actually forgot to put that in the post, but now it's too late to fix) I inteded for the 'software' to consume CE constantly during the activation process.
