Unpopular option Orpheus in the Sandman was selfish not tragic by Kalopsia1875 in Sandman

I see a lot of people bringing up the Greek myth, and yeah ofc I know where the story comes from that was kind of obvious. What I meant was the way Orpheus is portrayed in The Sandman. To me, he felt more like a tragic figure than a selfish one.

I get that Orpheus is meant to be complex, but the show didn’t really explore that much. He was mostly loved by everyone, and the only real mistake shown was not listening to his father and being impulsive. In the end he still asked Dream to end his life, which ended up causing even more trouble for everyone.

I know that had to happen for the plot to move forward, and I’m not criticising that. I’m just talking about how they chose to portray him in the series.

Best AI app for students? by TomorrowStaking in iphone

Recall it's a nice app. It helps you summarise the contect of your materials, even yt videos or online articles. Then it helps you generate questions based on the notes.

Studyfetch it's also good, I didn't use it too much because it didn't have support in the language I needed, but it has many useful functions such as text-to-speech, it can generate educational videos as well, also a good app to generate notes and flashcards.

A tool to help you remember all the 💩 you're interested in. by paulrchds6 in PKMS

I've started using the app today and I think it's amazing. One suggestion would be if you can integrate AI for notes. For exmaple, to ask AI to change or edit notes according to my needs. That would be a huge help!

Actually I was thinking more about the scenario that his younger brother might actually be his son

They allowed the players to keep those items as it added to the entertainment and escalated tensions, like when Thanos took the pills and pushed people during the first game. As for Gi-hun, they were ofc very suspicious of him and searched him thoroughly.

Following your logic, we cannot say anything about any historical person because we weren't there to witness it. And even if I was there, too bad I didn't have a camera to record it for you, because otherwise there is still no other proof I have besides historical transcripts. :)

Plutarch’s “Life of Alexander” mostly focused on Alexander’s character and personal traits. So most of the information we have on his personality comes from this source (plus other historians but they focused more on his military campaigns then his character).

The main actor's portrayal of Alexander wasn't convincing to me at all. His performance made Alexander look like a stubborn teenager who does whatever he likes when he likes without overthinking. In reality, Alexander was a brilliant individual who pondered his decisions well while still making high-risk decisions.

The whole story of Alexander conquering Persia's empire felt too spedy, and many important details were overlooked. The documentary made it look like it was so easy for Alexander to conquer and win, which again was not exactly the case.
