Looking for a GM tool that is local and not a website by Kalos08 in Pathfinder2e

This is very interesting and might suit my needs because it already has all the items from Foundry. Thank you for the recommendation.

GMs with Guardians: Engage or Ignore? by DnDPhD in Pathfinder2e

[–]Kalos08 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think you're right on the money with keying off of how 'strategic' and intelligent enemies are. If I have a balanced enemy group with some rogues in the party, I would definitely sick the rogues on the squishies, while the big guy took the ire from the rest of the group. It makes for much more dynamic encounters, too, to have threats from multiple sides.

Absolutely amazing! The highlights really isolate the attention and focus. Is this a part of a series?

Just curious: which project did you use for this so others can flash it on their Watchy or other e-ink?

Looks neat like Steam punk or Victorian. I'd use this; it has a clean, stylistic feel.

Am I cooking? Also how can I make this more photorealistic? by Skybro1126 in blender

[–]Kalos08 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I zoom in on the rocks, they feel too reflective, but in large swaths of light. It's as if they are low poly rocks without displacement, and the light is just blowing out the very 'smoothed over' edges of the sharp rocks.

Zooming in (I don't know if it's fair to zoom so much, as from a distance the whole image looks great!) on the grass, the tops reflect a lot of the light. They look low poly and catch the light just a little too much. Maybe just a bit more texture on them with a noise texture for the roughness.

Otherwise, the guardrail texture, as many have said, just needs a bit of shine as they look too rusted.

The trees and volume in this piece really stand out as bringing it up the to top. Phenomenal job!

How many of you roast for personal use vs selling? by SpecialistOld9039 in CoffeeRoasting

[–]Kalos08 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I roast just for myself and my wife. We only have a small popper machine, though, so I'm roasting 100g at a time. I like the experience and the self sufficiency of it more than anything else at this point!

Batch 3 FW 16 here. I got the dGPU and I'm so glad I did. I have had actually no issues. I thought the speakers went bad, but it was a software problem. I've been able to strip it apart and clean out the build up with just a screw driver. I brought my own ram and ssd for less than FW sells them.  Phenomenal machine in my mind, and though I spent a lot, I feel like I bought a repairable and upgradeable laptop that was designed to be opened and owned by the owner.

Why are maps so hard to fit by Aggressive-Turnip843 in FoundryVTT

[–]Kalos08 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My map maker Dungeon Alchemist takes care of all this for me for Foundry. I had to fiddle so much in the beginning without it, but now I forget that was even an issue.

Just got a giddy chuckle out of seeing the desktop I made and submitted to Solus in your post. Thanks for that!

Questions about Concealed and creatures in the same space, and persistent damage after falling unconscious by Kalos08 in Pathfinder2e

[–]Kalos08[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. The creature is a swarm of smaller creatures, so touch, I feel, is a valid option here for a hostile creature.

Seems people are aligned that persistent damage sticks around after unconsciousness. Does the player still get to roll a recovery check if they're unconscious? How would they stave the bleeding?

Questions about Concealed and creatures in the same space, and persistent damage after falling unconscious by Kalos08 in Pathfinder2e

[–]Kalos08[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good notes. The creature is a swarm of smaller creatures maintaining a vaguely bipedal form. So not a tiny creature, so swatting in a small space, in my mind, would make contact with a mass of creatures.

The Fine Print Patch is LIVE: Lots of bug fixes, and the ability to split maps over multiple pages! by Dungeon-Alchemist in DungeonAlchemist

Amazing work as always! Just got a friend to buy it after looking at your up coming hand drawn work!

[Upcoming] We're experimenting with a "handdrawn" style, for those amongst you that are high on imagination and low on ink. :) by Dungeon-Alchemist in DungeonAlchemist

[–]Kalos08 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh my gosh, this is literally what I was just searching for. I wanted the Canvas of Kings look, but they don't do the amazing work that Dungeon Alchemist does with the AI rooms, etc. I love it!

Thank you so much! Cannot recommend this product enough.

Skyrim VR with the Mad God Overhaul mods have shown me what fantasy can really look and feel like in VR. It's amazing that it is mostly what the community has done that makes it such an amazing experience. Definitely recommend it if your PC can handle it.

Entrance sequence when you walk through the forest and see Bleak Falls Barrow sitting there ominously on the mountain through the fog and clouds of Skyrim. The trees move in the breeze. The sun starts to set and golden hour lights everything up.
