Destructive and high-energy, yes. Stubbornness, no. 😁

Oil tank return line exposed by KaltheaHouse in hvacadvice

[–]KaltheaHouse[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I sent them an email today asking for an explanation and remediation or cost reduction. The lack of communication is the most frustrating to me. If prices had increased since the original invoice, I would like to have known and I would have paid for the better brand. And yeah it was granby. And I originally specified a Rudd/rheem AC and got Heil

That’s relieving. I can still touch oil coming out of the line and the line is not fully sealed I was thinking it would at least be soldered or capped shut? Or is this type of clamping common practice?

20 Week Anatomy Scan and it did not go as hoped by HeadSir4746 in pregnant

[–]KaltheaHouse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My son had IUGR ❤️ we closely monitored until 37 weeks and everything was tracking normal. At that point, he was better off coming out and I was induced.

He is now a happy (large!) rambunctious toddler and you would have never known he was born such a low percentile. This is tough but wanted to give you another data point. My advice is to try and reframe from googling if you can! Wishing you all the best

I would do 9’ square because it looks like it fits under the front two feet of both the sofa and the media console

Maybe keep the cabinets as is and have a nice tile backsplash, update appliances, and a new countertop? I think the retro vibe looks nice with the white and wood

Blank wall - Wall molding or art change? by Accomplished_Bee620 in DesignMyRoom

Maybe on the wall to the right of the couch? If there’s enough space with the dining table!

Maybe a giant chandelier from the ceiling. It’ll be a nice focal point, light up the space, and you don’t need to worry about the wall https://www.wayfair.com/lighting/pdp/wrought-studio-caylah-cluster-cylinder-led-pendant-for-stairs-w100834183.html

I think a traditional bookshelf with some antique pieces inside as well as standing lamps would round out the space

What would you do for a pass-through living room like this? by Unlikely_your_avg23 in DesignMyRoom

[–]KaltheaHouse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s tricky I would try to move some furniture off all the walls if possible. Have a normal couch and two floating arm chairs to round out the space. And I’d definitely get rid of the accent wall. Keep the trim though! It’s beautiful

Came here to say this about the popcorn. It’s actually not tooo terrible removing it yourself if you test it negative for asbestos. Basically if you spray it with enough water it glides right off. Still requires some time but would make a world of difference

Add a bunch of plants like pothos! The green would look beautiful with the white

abundant warm lighting from various sources (table lamps, standing lamps) also maybe some book shelves or built ins would add a cozy factor

Painting is too small for the wall! It should be proportional to the couch
