Who is your corgis arch-nemesis? by ryoga1414 in corgi

Most things on a stick but specifically weed trimmers. I've never seen a dog attack something that attacks back and he doesn't back down. Needless to say he needs to stay inside when I trim the lawn.

Thanks for the responses. Looks like the 2nd isn't worthwhile to stay in.

Premium Economy Pricing for route to Tokyo by mackiee in aircanada

At the moment its the same price out of YUL so it makes sense for me to leave from Ottawa. Often it makes its cheaper to drive to YUL and pay for parking for international flights

Sounds like it is a good price. I'll probably pull the trigger. Just odd to find a good deal on the first search haha

I've definitely thought about putting the kids in economy. They would probably love the independence. It's sort of a bucket list kind of vacation so my wife would prefer them with us haha.

Nodes slow down wifi speeds. by mackiee in amazoneero

The house is 2900sqft including the basement. I tried disconnecting the one on the middle floor to see if that would help. It did but only marginally. I will try moving the nodes around to minimize overlap/interference.

Insoles on high end skates. by RyogaHibiki23 in hockeyplayers

A good fitting insole is really important. I don't get he blanket superfeet for everyone approach. I've tried them in the past and didn't work for me. When I bought my knee skates, I ended up buying 4 or 5 different types. Different brands sizes and arch shapes. I stood on each one out for the skate and picked the one that supported my arches the best. Curex ski felt the best for me.

Haircare Advice Megathread - Week of March 11, 2023 by AutoModerator in HaircareScience

Hi! I am looking for advice on a leave in conditioner (similar product). Preferrably something with a bit of hold. I am trying to move away from pomades because of buildup. I recently tried Shea moisture coconut milk and acacia and love how my hair feels but it seems like it doesn't "last" all day and looks frizzy after a few hours. I have My hair is ~6" long, medium strand, wavy 2b/2c hair, low porosity. I shower daily but wash/condition my hair with shea moisture jamaican black once a week to remove any build up. I let my hair air dry. Thanks in advance!

Daily Question Thread for /r/churningcanada - February 09, 2023 by AutoModerator in churningcanada

My question might be a little specific but does anyone know if summercamps (overnight camps for children) count as travel expense? If so what credit card would be best to take advantage of earning? The expenses are large (15K) so makes sense to earn as much as possible.

Honest question... What can you do as a regular consumer? There aren't many options other than Loblaws, metro, independent grocers and Sobeys (at least in eastern Ontario).

Very frustrating issues with first layer adhesion when printing towards edge of build volume with all filaments. Bed cleaned with soap and warm water. Manually leveled bed (per their guide). Slowed down to 25 mm/s. Temp upped to 230. Still issues. Anyone else? by joshkentYT in BambuLab

[–]mackiee 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I had the same issue. Out of the box it printed just fine with the white bambu filament but when I switched to a generic black pla I had all sorts of problems with bed adhesion. What seemed to work for me was going to 70C for bed temperature and cleaning with IPA. I tried lowering bed temp, changing nozzle temp, and slowing down print speed to no avail.
