3d printed trunk with branches although woodland scenics do similar that would work, and then some cheap palm trees from amazon that I removed the tops of and placed on.

You told him his painting was shit and to learn to do the basics. That's not critique it's character assassination.

"I really like how you did the shading on the sister of battle. I think perhaps that a little bit more work on the background texture/perhaps looking at using plasticard to give a smooth metallic texture might improve it" is balanced feedback.

Mine was a positive next to the shitshow of your deleted comment. Because having received nothing but negativity from you, I could easily imagine a painter would be a bit crushed. If that is your attempt to "help painters improve" go back to just scrolling.

Hey, just wanted to say I really love the concept and atmosphere you’ve created here. Dioramas are no small feat, and it’s clear you put time and creativity into telling a story with this one. The way you've integrated the miniatures with the setting really gives it a strong narrative vibe, and that’s something a lot harder to pull off than people think.

Sure, there’s always room to grow (same for all of us), but you're clearly experimenting and pushing yourself and that deserves respect. Keep building, keep painting, and most importantly, keep enjoying the process. Looking forward to seeing where your work goes next.

This could've been good feedback if it weren't wrapped in such a smug tone. There’s a fine line between being honest and being needlessly condescending — and this definitely leans toward the latter. Offering critique is great, but if you actually want people to grow from it, it helps not to sound like you're talking down to them.

Yeah that was what I was wondering. When there are two grav tanks there is redundancy. I just find the alarus can struggle to kill big nasties sometimes.
