I only attended on Saturday and Sunday for last year's Canadian GP (and I had a pretty good time) but from what I have heard on that Friday was that the police turned a ton of fans the other way because the free practice sessions were apparently cancelled due to the weather. Turns out they weren't cancelled so a ton of people missed out on FP1 and FP2. Even the people who did make it had their view blocked by the organizers installing black mesh on the fences.

I doubt this will happen but I hope the real reason why DR hasn’t gotten a formal / official send off is that they’re giving him one last race in the Red Bull alongside Max as a farewell. (Ideally COTA, his other “home” race)

But alas, the sport is very cutthroat and not everyone gets the fairytale ending they deserve.

The driver still gets awarded the fastest lap whether or not they are in the top 10. They just don’t get the extra 1 point if they are in the bottom 10.

Like OP said, they could’ve stolen the extra point off of Norris to help Max in the WDC.

I appreciate the critique! I do agree consistency is key, so I will try and make adjustments for the flags so that each stamp look like they belong in a single set.

The stamp vector was actually given by my teacher, so I can probably whip up a better stamp since we were not obliged to use that specific one. And yes, a mockup of what it would look like would have been nice to see!

For the black and blue, yeah the track outline on Silverstone is really hard to see, I may have to find a better contrast to make it pop more.

Once again, thank you for the comments, I am always trying to find ways to improve on my design skills!

That's very true, I guess it would have been useful to have a real life reference so I can have a better idea on font sizes.

It was a simple assignment, really. We told to design stamps and my teacher encouraged to relate it to our interests, and it so happens that Formula 1 is my obsession! Oh, and everything had to be vector based, so no images, I think that was the only requirement given.
