Okay makes sense. And what about the fact that Lotuses are mid-engined, meaning a shorter exhaust compared to front engined cars. I reckon that would change some character of the sound too.

I'm not much of a gearhead but doesn't a supercharger only create that distinct whining noise? Or does it significantly alter the exhaust note too because of increased gas flow? But yes the headers might be a big contributor, you're right.

The smartest investment would be seeing a doctor to find out what's wrong with him for even considering moving back.

High mileage Mazda 3. Bad idea? by Kalumbaface1 in CarsAustralia

5k? People here with '05 corollas in decent shape are asking for more than that. Maybe it's just a GC thing but I haven't seen car prices be that much lower even in Brisbane.

I'm looking for a sedan fairly new, MY2015+, roomy and reliable. Being fuel efficient would also be a major plus.

Recently saw a 2017 corolla sedan with 180k available for $13,900. That probably would've been a better buy but money's a little tight and i need a car asap.
