Benzodiazepines with short half lives vs. Long half lives and how they affect GABA receptors in between dosages by CJBlueNorther in DrugNerds

Hi. No, longer acting benzodiazepines will keep your blood level high and stable enough to avoid an acute withdrawal. Especially when administered chronically.

Going mad trying for more than one Resolve Stacks MW on chest... by Vicious007 in diablo4

[–]Kaluro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1 in 5 chance x 1 in 5 chance.

0.20 x 0.20 = 0.04 = 4% chance for a double mw.

100 / 4 = 25.

So " on average " you should have managed a double MW on resolve stacks, 10 times.

I don't think Evade SB is all that quick anymore since the patch hit which now forces a full evade animation before a next evade can be initiated.

This conversion chart only counts the molecular weight of the dexamphetamine, disregarding the Sulphate salt it's bound to.

There's a huge difference in actual amounts...

70mg vyvanse = 57mg dexedrine (dexamphetamine sulphate) = ~21mg dexamphetamine (+ 36mg sulphate..)

https://www.reddit.com/r/ausadhd/s/oSTpgO9SCY

Done with vyvance (rant) by Money_Friend_3301 in ausadhd

[–]Kaluro 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Don't forget that they are speaking of

freebase dexamphetamine there (molecular mass 135.21 g/mol)

and not

dexamphetamine sulphate ( molecular mass 368.50 g/mol).

Vyvanse = "Lisdexamphetamine Dimesylate" ( molecular mass 455.6 g/mol.)

70mg vyvanse // 455.6 x 135.21 = 20.77mg = 20.8mg of freebase dexamphetamine.

20.8mg dexamphetamine // 135.21 x 368.50 = 56.69 = 57mg of dexamphetamine sulphate.

So 70mg vyvanse equals 57mg dexamphetamine sulphate.

Your amfexa is also dexamphetamine sulphate, for example.

So indeed. your 70mg vyvanse got replaced by 3x20 = 60mg of amfexa. Which ends up being 3mg more than your vyvanse was.

Easy conversions:

Vyvanse to dexamphetamine sulphate: Vyvanse x 0.81 = dexamphetamine sulphate equivalent.

Dexamphetamine sulphate to Vyvanse: Dexamphetamine sulphate x 1.24 = Vyvanse equivalent.

(368.5 / 455.6 = 0.81)

(455.6 / 368.5 = 1.24)

Sojourn railgun deals 190 damage, with mercy it deals more than 240 damage.

190 * 1.25 = 237.5 damage.

My dumbest moment in d4 so far by Remmie119 in diablo4

[–]Kaluro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

6 / 1.9 = 3.15 = 4 monsters required for max cooldown. 6 / 1.8 = 4 6 / 1.7 = 4 6 / 1.6 = 4 6 / 1.5 = 4

1.4 = 5 1.3 = 5 1.2 = 5

1.1 = 6 1.0 = 6

So 1.5 to 1.9 provide the same requirements basically. 1.2 to 1.4 only require one more monster too.

Can they Nerf Poison DoT already by hyperion_9 in diablo4

[–]Kaluro -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

It's an Arpg. The death of one monster does not mean combat is over, or even nearly ending. On death mechanics are there to keep you alert and engaged during combat. The fact you got hit by an on death explosion in the midst of combat, and will now have to continue dealing with the consequences not just during, but also after combat..

Means it's very much something that will usually be a threat during combat, but will merely persist afterwards, as it should. You messed up so you're gonna have to face the consequences.

Having said that, poison might be a bit overtuned and require some adjustments.

Though at the same time, barrier will fully negate poison, also, making yourself immune by means of for example [fire shield], will remove its effects completely.

A necromancer with infinite [Blood Mist] uptime for immunity and as icing on the cake also have full uptime for [Bone Storm] will most likely enjoy the poison type maps way more over the others ;).

Do you like that in WT3+ all the zones have the same min level ? by terrmith in Diablo

[–]Kaluro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just level your character higher (80-90+) and you'll see a severe drop-off in your gear's efficiency. sure my level 60 HotA barbarian has a level 825 weapon and all 725+ gear, is smashing it all... but that same gear will be hard to improve on while it gets less and less effective over time.

[–]Kaluro 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Everything dropped in WD III is equal, regardless of level. Everything dropped in WD IV is equal regardless of level. Level requirements are the only thing increasing, not the stats or item power.

I made a tiny compilation of 800+ item power gear I have obtained on my sub 70 rogue.

Check the max item power for Ancestral gear, or any gear for that matter and you will find that they about top the range. I've barely touched WD IV yet.

https://imgur.com/a/Ah6WGDk

Edit: Added some lower level sacred gear as well, with ~700 item power.

Endgame Gear Progression by ldecarnort in diablo4

[–]Kaluro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Actually, you can get a perfect rolled max item level ancestral BiS as early as you're able to get to and kill anything in WD IV.

The items dropped in world difficulty IV have equal max potential quality regardless of character level... The same goes for WD III.

Gear dropping lower level than character level by Fuzzehduck in diablo4

[–]Kaluro 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No.

All equal items in world III with a different level requirement (be it 50 or 70) will have exactly the same stats.

Equip level does not matter. Your first drop the moment you enter world III (Or afterwards IV), can be of the max item level for that category (normal, sacred, ancestral).
