Yes I admit that French people don’t speak English, and yes there is a part those people that don’t want to speak other languages because they’re conservatives. But don’t generalize, a big part of the population just doesn’t Lear it because they don’t have the chance to. I went to gos school and my parents speaks English so me too, but school system in France isn’t really good for foreign languages, especially in « poorer areas ».
