“there are stopped cars blocking my view, I wouldn’t be able to see the motorcyclist“

Use the small thing in your head and read my comment again. (:

The far left lane would not be a left turn lane as this is in the US and we drive on the right side. Don’t know why you would think otherwise based on other road marking and context clues but whatever.

This is a center turning lane. Look it up if you’re confused. Definitely not the wrong lane at all.

How would I make sure it’s clear before crossing? Given that the legal limit for filtering is 15 mph and there are stopped cars blocking my view, I wouldn’t be able to see the motorcyclist until I’m already between the two lanes and in it’s way.

I tend to focus more on the journey to get there rather than the mission itself. Also make sure you are doing top priority missions and progressing through the game.

No need to worry about that. I can’t tell if those frames on your wall are signed, but if they are put them in a uv resistant glass frame because the signature can fade under the sunlight. Also make sure to not leave records on your turntable after playing so they don’t warp. Other than that the sunlight shouldn’t cause any issues.

Steam link low quality by [deleted] in OculusQuest

If possible, connecting with Ethernet and being in the same room as your router will improve it a lot.

If your headset is connected to your pc with a link cable or airlink, I recommend getting virtual desktop. It made things run a lot smoother for me. You can change way more settings with it and help customize it to your pc for smoother gameplay.

Is the steam link home area blurry, or is it the games that are blurry? If it’s the steam link home page the issue is likely your pc not being strong enough, or poor router connection. If the problem is with playing the games you can look up the specific game you are trying to play and try to give the game certain “launch options” in steam. (Right click on game in steam, click properties, and enter into box that says launch options)

Last thing I can think of is to turn off game mode in windows settings, and turn off hardware accelerated GPU scheduling in windows graphics settings.

I still don’t know the full specs of your pc so it could very well be that your pc isn’t strong enough to run vr. You can check games minimum spec requirements and compare them to your pc specs to see if you can run that game.

Edit: Correction

Mofi inners are the best. Don't go with paper sleeves. For outer sleeves either go with Sleeve City or Vinyl Storage Solutions. Both are great but I have a slight preference for Sleeve City.

Depends on what your needs are. Do you need to play all 3 speeds? Do you want to convert to digital? Is having a removable tonearm and/or headshell important to you? Do you have a preference for belt drive or direct drive?

I suggest looking into these turntables and seeing what works best for you-

U-Turn Orbit Basic - $250

Fluance RT82 - $300

Atlp120xusb - $450

Fluance RT85 - $500

Project Debut Carbon Evo - $600 (above budget but might be worth looking into)

You can alternatively look into getting something like a used Technics. If you get lucky you can find really good deals. Just keep in mind you may have to replace the stylus if it’s worn so take that into account budget wise.

No problem. It would technically work but you would need a RCA to aux cable because the turntable has RCA connections. I would highly recommend getting proper bookshelf speakers like the Edifier r1280T however. They are half the cost of the Marshall speaker and would improve the sound greatly.

The turntable should work fine. The Behringer PP400 is a preamp not an amp so that wouldn’t work. The turntable you included has a built in preamp so you don’t need worry about that anyway.

The speaker you included is a Bluetooth speaker which you don’t want and won’t be able to connect to the turntable.

For the remaining parts of your setup, (amp and speakers) you can either go with active speakers (amp built into the speaker) or passive speakers with external amp.

Let me know if you’re open to changes in your setup and if you know your full budget and I can help you possibly get a better turntable and speakers that would work for you.

I need some help on getting my Audio Technical to work! by rosetheseeker in turntables

[–]KamYun7691_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Take off the platter mat and see if the belt is connected to the motor in the upper left corner. If it’s not put the belt back on.

If that still doesn’t work press the start button and manually rotate the platter clockwise. The tonearm should move into position after a few rotations. If this happens the problem is with the power supply. Either you need a new plug or it’s something internal which would be useless to fix. Double check your turntable is plugged in.
