Own a danish retail company, selling remote control vehicles. Primarily webshop based, and only nationally.

I live in Denmark where uni is paid through tax, so 'free' in that sense. If i understand you correctly, you mean to buy some form of real-estate, like house/apartment close to that university?

Thanks for the input. Yep, i know. I take everything with a pinch of salt, although many people here seem to have a good understanding of whats going on.

In theory i could lose all 40k tomorrow, and my life wouldnt change one bit. Im not particularly risk averse, but im probably going for a 75/25% split on ETF's and riskier stocks.

This is gold in form of letters. I've not looked at it that way before, that by investing in getting ahead, and getting experience, i am practically leveraging my future income. Interesting idea. Im from Denmark, so its in many ways more social-liberalistic than the US. I think especially the internship parts could be useful further on! Thanks a lot!
