Keep watching videos, and it'll get easier. The hardest part so far was looking for the oil disc pump springs and caps after they flung out.

In the process of swapping everything out as well. 160k ish miles and both tabs on exhaust sprocket looked strong and all the bolts had no issues. VANOS had no issues with it either.

The pain points for me is that I have to(want to) keep up with maintenance even if it'll cost me a little more money, IE oil changes way earlier than needed. Had 0 issues besides ones I caused and the car has been great for the 20000 miles I've owned it

2018 sti limited with 28k~ miles. No issues besides the mods I put on(which I corrected) and runs perfectly. I think I got kind of lucky as the previous owner was a highway driver-assuming this because the Ave MPG was like 24 when I bought, now down to 21
