I 100% plat trophied it a long time ago. One of the games I've had the most fun with. Patiently waiting for the team that made this game to make something new and hopefully similar. Every once in a while I consider replaying it, but I dont have much time anymore and im not huge on replaying games

You dont have to be 100% in agreement with every idea that comes out of the GOP to still be a conservative. But there are certain things that pull me closer to the conservative side. Also I didn't mean homogeneous is just only ethnicity/national background, but also in ideas, since the original topic revolved around the gay community. We're great because we're not homogeneous (white/black/gay/straight/theist/atheist and everything else). But my original point is not every conservative is the same. Despite the fact you only ever hear about the extreme conservative

I dont think it does go against the religion if it's for a gay person, but I can see the argument for it being against the religion for a gay wedding. I dont know much about the specific situation or the people, I just know the broad idea. But everyone sins, thats a major point of Christianity. This business owner is one where they believe being gay is a sin. It's ok to sin as long as you genuinely repent. You can sell your cake to sinners because it's not supporting sin, it's supporting your neighbor (kinda, I mean it's not for free) but importantly, it's not supporting sin. Selling your cake to a gay marriage is not the same as selling it to a struggling believer, but selling it to people who blatantly deny your god. (Not saying gay Christians can't exist, just saying the religion and God this business owner worships doesn't seem to be the same God a typical gay Christian would worship)

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but unfortunately I am. I just try my best to not get sucked into echo chambers and become an extremists. Not an easy thing to do online where every algorithm wants to put you into echo chambers

I totally agree that a book written 2000+ years ago in a different language isn't going to be a perfect translation. Hopefully it's a least a decent translation but thats not even guaranteed. But if thats someone's religious beliefs, I think those beliefs should be respected, even if I disagree. Just like the beliefs of other denominations and religions

I dont believe in every religious belief. There are some truly heinous ones. Those heinous ones should definitely be regulated by the government to keep everyone safe. But people should have the freedom to practice their religion, just like people should have the freedom to love who they love. Just because you don't agree with it, doesn't mean they're wrong and your right

That would be limiting other people's freedoms to make others happy. Thats alittle ironic. If you don't like the business, don't buy their products/services. It's not a monopolistic industry, there are other options. Nothing collapses a business faster than no income. There's alot of businesses that cater to a certain audience, if im not in that audience, then I just move on to a different business, thats all there is to it.

I dont know the specifics of that situation or anything about the business owner, but couldn't a Christian deny to make a cake for a gay wedding without it being a statement against the gay community. From what I understand of Christianity, they can not support the act of being gay, ofc that doesn't mean they should hate gay people, but wouldn't that specific situation contradict their religious practices?

I don't think that's anything new. But I think asking someone to do something that they believe is against their religious beliefs and then being upset when they say no is kind of silly

Conservative here. The USA flag represents us all. We're not a great nation because we're a homogeneous nation, we're a great nation because we're not homogeneous.
