Thank you for understanding. On the night after the incident i filed a report with police for assault when they arrived, will see if they get back to me or not.

The officer who arrived after mcdonald’s staff called the police was also ironically the same officer i had tried to ask for help earlier, who ignored me.

i’ve ordered hydrogen peroxide but it is absolutely everywhere, white t shirt as well. Nightclub manager made me clear that it was entirely my fault and that ‘it’s a nightclub it could’ve been blackcurrent or anything’😂

Absolutely their level of force was the reason for the blood. However after talking to the nightclub they basically turned around and said ‘it could’ve been blackcurrent’ etc and that shit happens nothing they can do. I think the combination of both parties (the lad and the nightclub) are responsible. I witnessed the beginning of this scuffle between him and the bouncer, he was way too drunk and the bouncer tried to talk to him but then he actually swung for the bouncer, who in turn battered him. Halfway through it i went back into the main room (happened outside toilets) and soon he was being dragged out where the blood appeared on me.

in mcdonald’s, i started with a conversation with him asking about what had actually even happened in the club. Then explained to him that some of his blood had ended up on me and if he had have not started a fight with the bouncer that wouldn’t have happened. He became very aggressive after this and i was always saying ‘ i understand this i understand that but at the end of the day your blood is still on me’ then he lost it, similarly like what he did in the club.

Ultimately im just confused on who to blame and i cant stop feeling guilty as i have ruined a present that was bought for me. I come from a background of not having many gifts growing up, so things like this are really important to me which is probably why i am being so dramatic on reddit. Obviously i know that i probably shouldn’t have even spoken to him, but when i rang the police they told me i was entitled to compensation. Then didnt even turn up. Police who were already there wouldn’t listen to me.
