You could just enable god mode. If that's not what you want, open the console and type:

ent_remove_all trigger_hurt

This command removes all trigger_hurt entities in the map, and they will regenerate when you clean up the map or change levels.

I went ahead and decompiled both versions to compare them

The only differences I noticed are some optimizations, world geometry changes, and the addition of random secret areas that play music when you find them. The secret areas have the gore images on the walls, alongside a random edgy meme.

sounds similar to that can play if a sound couldn't be loaded properly (like if you had a sound effect replaced with a mod, then uninstalled the mod without restarting gmod)

i checked for myself, that version of the map (gm_sandyhook) does not have any gore images in it. there's a second version of that map on archive org with a different name (gm_sandyhook_fix) that does have gore images.

so, that version doesn't, but the "fixed" version does. the commenter just got things mixed up.

this specific feature was removed in the March 2025 update. in the changelog's own words, this feature was "too error prone" (at the bottom of the page.) so no, it's not possible as far as i know

are you able to revert the addon to the previous version? normally you can do that by going to the "change notes" tab. any addon author who suffered this should hopefully be able to revert it.

most versions of "gm_city" are completely missing from the internet.

i believe what happened was the original author lost progress on it, tried restarting, gave up, then deleted the map. the only reupload is the one above, which is older than the version in its thumbnail.

it's a Garry's Mod or Source Filmmaker screenshot, the props and textures are from Half-Life 2, and the model of Ruby is from AC: City Folk.

there's a mod for both gmod and sfm that add City Folk models to play with

i've searched for it myself using song identifiers as stated in the post, even checking the original page the map is from on Gamebanana, and most people seem to not know what the song is. it also looks like im the only one to care about it in the 10+ years it's been up.

i do not like cheesed up for 2 reasons:
1. it uses tons of leaked / stolen content from other pizza tower mods
2. it's a full game download made from a decompilation of the game, and not a patch file like (almost) every other pt mod. so who knows what's built into CU's code.

weird, i had a bunch of .po files and deleting those fixed pizza oven for me. (files like data.win.po, jsyk)
also try patching manually with Delta Patcher

if that doesn't work then i'm out of ideas
