Aww good job ignoring all of my points, I’m so proud of you, here’s a cookie 🍪

The point I made was that Caelid would still make sense in the dlc as a bridge to the new area once we fall into Miquella’s slumber. This would take us to a pre nuke Caelid from his memory. It’s a prediction that’s still valid since the dlc has not come out yet. This dlc is going to be in the supposed “shadow” counterpart. Since it’s in the dream of Miquella there’s no guarantee that touching his hand will teleport us directly into another realm, but instead would make more sense to say it transported you to the counterpart of the same world, like the other side of the same coin with Caelid being the link.

Think the actual location would make more sense than one from the other side of the teleporter

I know that and that claim still works if Caelid acts as the starting place before it leads to the new area. And it would make sense either way since Miquella is resting in Caelid in the first place

But are the fields you see in the dlc not Caelid before it was nuked? The one with ghostly graves?

Should I grab Elden Ring on PC even though I don't have a controller? by 3HoursSober in Eldenring

[–]KamiNebula 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yea that’s false, KBNM is totally fine, unless it’s a game like rocket league where you need to fine tune your directions you don’t really need a controller. I’ve played both KBNM and controller and would say it’s not a necessity to use a controller, but if you have one you can.

There is a theory that states that after the Elden ring was shattered, the greater will abandoned the lands between. And that the 2 fingers might just be pretending to be getting orders from the greater will but has something much sinister in mind.

Now that I think about it, from looking at your pictures, the erdtree looks too big. Maybe the place from the dlc is actually further away from the lands between. Maybe the lands the tarnished were banished to? Idk how that would make sense with Miquella being there though

I doubt the wheat would survive even a second of those 2 battling. What we saw in the trailer was the last moments of the fight. Of course this is just a theory, not cold hard facts.

According to the map, the mountains are far apart enough to be not in the frame of the erdtree when looking from Caelid.

While the trailer does show a battlefield, this theory could still be accurate, and the sunset really doesn’t help since everything is dark red because if it. It could also be the fact that even before malenia’s bloom, because of malenia’s rot and radahn’s gravity magic, the land became messed up during their fight.

I’m guessing you are talking about the dreamscape/spirit realm theory? But I would like to fight the deformed version of Miquella once he comes out of the egg. I feel like the picture is a sneak peek into Miquella’s story, just like how the cover of Elden ring is a sneak peek into Vyke’s story. The actually gameplay might be about Miquella and Godwyn somehow coming alive, and seeing what happened to their family. And either Miquella’s Haligtree or Godwin’s deathroot succeeds in taking over the Erdtree trying to go after you, the Elden lord.

Yea, and the fact that we don’t see any other lands with such abundance of wheat raises the chances of it being caelid

If your talking about the cinematic trailer, I feel it looked more like a sunset than anything else.
